RE: Jenseits von Gut und Böse? Teil 4 | Beyond good and evil? pt 4
Interesting, very interesting your posts on beyond good and evil. They make me analyze a lot the scenarios raised in them.
I will leave you my opinion on two of those scenarios:
- Helping the other, is just that, simply helping because you were born to help him, indifferent what he is going to do with the help you are giving him, because not doing it or not even thinking about doing it, even when you can, is judging him based on some pre-established beliefs in your mind. And with this, I am referring to the scenario of the Beggar, who even, according to the scenario, was well dressed, and usually beggars are not well dressed, which opens the possibility that this person may be a victim who is in need of help. We see so many cases in this life, such as human trafficking, for example. But in the end, we are not the ones to judge.
- The other scenario is to enlist in the army at the request of the government because there is a war... Difficult decision for anyone, even if it is compulsory. In general, the leaders who provoke wars do not go to them to fight and are not the ones who lose their lives there. The concept of Just War, is and always will be a facade... Now if war comes to your community, to your home, in that case, what other options are there besides defending yourself, especially when you have people you care about.
It was a pleasure to read.
Many thanks for reading, thinking and answering!
I'll read aloud your scenario suggestions to Maxime, and I hope Maxime is able to answer in a short time. ;-)
I've got an interview date with Maxime!
