What do you understand by the subject matter; Letting Go

Letting go is the situation where we free our minds from something that keeps on disturbing us. This thing that hinders our personal progress must be released so that it will not affect our well-being. Letting go is also the process of accepting the outcome as well as forgiving people who have offended us; it may be friends or family whom we trusted and who eventually betrayed us within the community we live in. Letting go is common among human beings, as they need to seek their mistakes in the process and do what is necessary to correct them.

Have you had any experience where you had to let go of something?

Yes, of course. However, it is always common among my friends that I have a situation where one of my friends does something painful to me. Whenever he goes out with another friend, with whom I also have a relationship, he will not allow me to go with them, to the extent that he chases me back home like an animal.

On that day, I didn't have money to go back, so should he expect me to trek while that other friend that they went somewhere else and later gave me money for transport? I wonder what I did wrong that I deserve this. Although I later told him what he did, I eventually forgot and forgave him.

Why and how do you know it was time to let go?

If the person I offended realizes his or her mistake, I will let that go because I believe such mistakes will not repeat themselves. Letting go is important in our lives so that it does not serve as a challenge that prevents us from growing.

Human beings must expect disappointment from friends and family, but not all of them are bad. Whenever we need their favor, we must allow all the bad things they do to fade from our minds and accept them back, as in that moment, we need their understanding to help us design our future the way we want.
