Randomly Checking Newbie's Posts to See if the Grammar Checking Tutorial Has Been Implemented

It's quite unfortunate that most newbies rush to make a post even after the content on the use of the grammar checker was given. Or should I say some users don't remember or feel it's stressful if they do so? I'm drawing conclusions from the comments of some users who assured us that they had taken the corrections to heart.

As imperfect humans, I'll assume they need to be reminded over and over again to get it right. Sometimes I wonder why we rush to make a post when we know that the post may have some human errors that need to be corrected. So this week, I'll dedicate my time to doing more assessments on newcomers' posts. This is their foundation. If they don't get the foundation right, they'll take it as a normal thing when they become old users.

For the record, I've got over 10 users who were corrected in my last post, but these users still fail to correct their grammar before posting. I know this isn't an implemented scheme for assessing posts, but you must always try to avoid frustrating your readers. I'm not talking about the punctuation. Most people make mistakes in punctuation, even the writing gurus. I'm emphasising grammar construction.

Yes, Steemit accepts low-quality content on the platform, but that doesn't mean you should also be broken or low in your use of English. As much as polished English isn't a requirement for users, learn from the fastest technology if you can't be perfect in your own way. Always allow yourself to be corrected. For those who say they usually forget, I'll make it a daily practice to check all posts and drop screenshots of grammatical errors in the comment section of a user's post if there are errors indeed.

Once a user sees this screenshot of red lines in almost all his posts, no one would remind him to be using it. The checker on a daily basis. For those who rush to create content, your punishments 😁 would be served on a platter of Gold. For those who forget, I'll make you remember.

Why am I doing this?

Some may say I'm doing this by force correction to be visible. It's far from what you think. I personally feel that Steemit has given us the liberty to be free with our use and choice of words. We shouldn't disregard this free will because this is a writing platform. Even if your post isn't made polished in terms of words, it shouldn't be broken or written as if we've not been taught punctuation.

I won't mention names, but I saw a user who wrote words of about 20 lines straight without putting in line breaks, which can be full stops or other punctuation.

@jackies021001169854.jpg His writing and formatting styles are commendable, but he needs to work on his grammar. I know people read diary game posts a lot. To avoid stressing your readers, put them in the eye of your lifestyle or narration.
You have 78 errors
which is above average.
@ibnatafiya1001169875.jpg This user is an active and creative user, but his grammar needs to be kept in check. I mentioned him in my tutorial post, but he failed to acknowledge the mention. I hope his next post won't call my attention.
You have 65 errors
which is above average.
@anykon1001169877.jpg A consistent user who creates and formats posts well. The only thing is that, I feel he rushes to create contents because he barely have time to check notifications if I'm not mistaken. I don't mean to sound judgemental but there's always room for improvement. It's just that it's very painful to have corrected you last time and you still repeat the same mistake.
You have 92 errors
which is very evident that you rush to create contents, ignoring the use of the grammar checker.
@hopewilliams041001169879.jpg I appreciate her consistency as a mother and business woman. She writes originally but she needs to improve the quality of her contents especially her diary game entries. In addition, her grammar needs to be kept in check. I'll encourage the use of the grammar checker tool anytime you want to make a post. Please, don't forget.
You have 67 errors

@otiumoren1001169884.jpg An active user but needs to work on his grammatical errors. Virtually all his posts have grammatical errors above average.

@bendelta281001169950.jpg A consistent and original user who's so passionate about sharing his lifestyle with others. He writes well, but need to improve the quality of his diary game entries. In addition, I mentioned him last week in my post. He acknowledged the mistake and promised to correct himself. I think his improvement is better than last time when checked.
You have 27 errors
which is not bad enough. Continue checking your posts using the grammar checker.
@adit021001169952.jpg She's also an active newcomer but needs to work on the same thing. It's sad to say she was mentioned last week on this issue and is still mentioned again.
You have 73 errors
which is above average.
@lumiradhi1001169981.jpg An active user but also need to work on her grammar. She writes originally and has been consistent. It's just that the invisible scar of grammatical errors haven't left her contents.
You have 71 errors

@benglobal021001170125.jpg An original user that needs to improve the quality of his diary game as regards to first impression. His also need to keep his grammar in check by using the checker. Sad to say, he got the highest grammatical errors for the week. It's never too late to improve.
You have 162 errors

Users who took the correction personally
tinaekanem12341001170146.jpg It's good that this user has chosen to accept the corrections given to her on the use of the grammar checker anytime she wants to make a post. This is evident in her subsequent posts after the correction was made.
ripon0091001170152.jpg He checks and corrects his grammar before posting. This is as a result of being dedicated. If you check his posts before now, you'll find some errors. But everything is different now.
mannatnawaz1001169958.jpg Good to know we have people who took the tutorial seriously and promised themselves to always correct their grammar before posting.
You have 15 errors
which is above average.

The same way you see it fitting to format your post without feeling it's stressful, grammar checking won't take you 2 minutes if you're to do so. It won't be nice of you to see these screenshots in the comment section of your post. Your grammatical errors should not be above or below average, though there are some words that don't need corrections.

1-15✅ Free
16-25Considerable in cases of unidentified grammar depending on your writing
26-35Below Average [Not good] 🤞🏽
36Average in my context ❌
36-200Above average ❌

This shouldn't be a grading system, but can help you minimise grammatical errors in your post.

Such post won't be made with regards to this. All corrections would be made in a user's comment section.

Respected Sir, I am feeling very ashamed that I am making mistakes in grammar. It is not that I am not trying. I had also taken screenshots of the corrections, but there was some error due to which I could not send them to you.

Nooo. Your name falls under those who utilized what was taught. Check again. You're a free person. You did well in accepting the correction made last time. The 15 errors in your post which I mistakenly wrote 78 is a testament that you've done your best. It's a passed mark. From my rating.

Thank you so much sir for this kindness.

Terimakasih atas sarannya.. Saya sudah berusaha tapi saya juga tidak mengerti, kesalahan yang mana, seharusnya anda menandainya. Maaf saya juga sudah membaca petunjuk. Semoga kebingungan ini tidak membuat saya tidak hilang semangat.

Is this mandatory in Steemit platform or it's just Nigerian community that brought this up?

When I was introduced to Steemit, I wasn't informed about grammars besides, English is a borrowed Language and not a yardstick or measurement for intelligence. I feel my efforts are not appreciated when I show up here and I'm constantly tagged to grammatical correction post.

Please, I didn't sign up for this, I try as much as possible to make my post comprehensive and that should be enough. Allow me to learn and grow gradually, please.
