This friend directed me to a place where life chicken is being sold at an affordable price, so I gave it a try. The location was a bit hidden, I guess that's why I have not noticed it. When I was able to find the place, there were plenty of sellers. So I walked around the mini chicken market to get prices from different sellers, their prices compared to the sizes of the chickens were good, but I still bargained..hahahahah and was given a little reduction in prices.
The chickens were also killed, cleaned and washed in the market there. They provide those services for you, but you have to pay extra for the service, which was not bad, saving you the whole stress of doing that at home.

However, I was satisfied with the buying and service I got from this mini market, I think there should be places like this in every neighbourhood to save the stress and time of going a long distance to get things like this. The place where this market is situated is also a commendable one. Whoever gave them the location did well because it was far from residential buildings to avoid smells and also a safety and hygiene guide.
Lot of people patronise this market, while i was there lots of sales was going on and a vehicle arrived with lots of chicken from the farm to supply more chicken to the sellers, i guess that was why they sell at a considerate prices since they get a direct supply from the farm making them boycott all those middle man cost. With this, there was no need for them to add extra cost to cover up all those extra expenses incurred with the middleman selling to them.

The convenience of not going a long distance to buy, although there were buyers there, but it was not as crowded as the bigger markets where you have to waste time waiting until it gets to your turn to be attended to, because everyone arrives almost at the same time to buy. This mini market in my neighbourhood has a slow and steady customer base where people come and go within a short time. Getting quality for my money was worth it.
With these, I think my neighbourhood mini chicken market has gotten a new patronage. So, friends, this is my discovery in my neighbourhood.
