This so call movie ,:"Baby’s Day Out" is a comedy movie that was released back then on July,1994. It was produced by John Hughes and directed by Patrick Johnson. These very movie I'm talking about is full is really full of laughters, adventures, and unexpected events that make it more realistic and enjoyable for both kids and adults all around the world. And it's a movie of an hour plus.

The Main Idea of the movie

These movie I'm talking about is really about a rich baby named Bink who gets kidnapped by three strange criminals. However, these so call criminals really think that they have a very legit and smart plan to obtain money from Bink’s parent's by kidnapping their baby. But they didn’t even know that this baby called bink is really full of surprises and very smart! Instead of the baby crying or being scared for living home, Bink escapes from these kidnappers and goes on a long adventure all over and around the city. Lol, poor kidnappers,they keep chasing him, but they keep falling into trouble and trap at every turn they did at the moment.

However, this movie is packed with very funny scenes and moments, unexpected events, and a lesson about how sometimes, innocence and luck can outsmart even the cleverest and intelligent or powerful people. It shows how a baby, without even walking on his legs can cause big problems for grown up men who think they are very smart and matured.

Plot & Setting

However,this very story happens in Chicago, a very big known city with plenty of places for adventure and viewings. So,the rich Cotwell family takes a really great care of their baby, Bink, but one day, while his dad left for work kidnappers pretending to be photographers steal him , while they have successful confuses his mum to change her dress for the photograph. They think they have the perfect plan to collect a huge money from they parents, but they never expected Bink to be so clever and smart.

Bink crawls out of their hands and starts viewing and exploring the beautiful city of Chicago. He visits different places like:

A blue bus, where he enjoys the ride while the criminals was busy running after him.
A shopping mall, where he was really having fun while the kidnappers were busy struggling to find him.
A construction site, where he almost gets himself into danger, but somehow anyhow he was safe.
A park, where he plays happily while the criminals keep getting hurt. And it was in this park he ran into tunnel where they kidnappers finally catch him.
A zoo, where he ends up in a gorilla cage, and the gorilla protects him and take really good care of him.

Eddie the kidnappers leader, carried the baby and put in his front trouser,pull off his jacket and covered it for not to be noticed. But his Smartness failed him,since he was a smoker he had lighter in his pucket,so the baby reach out the lighter and light it up in the man's trouser. Boom , some officer came to the spot , because of the smoke the perceived.

The criminals confused the police officer and they left. Before they knew it the baby as crawled away again.

These funny criminals try everything possible to catch Bink again, but he keeps escaping without even knowing how much trouble he’s causing to them. Meanwhile, his mother and the FBI are searching everywhere to find him but all in fails. Well,however at the end of this movie, Bink the smart baby boy as safely returns home successfully, while the kidnappers where handcuffed.

What I Would Do Differently if I was the Director

Well,in my conclusion for the movie, the Movie is so interesting,funny, and sweet to watch but well,If I were directing this movie as at now of modern time, I would round it off to two hours. I would make a few changes to make it even more sweeter, realistic and funnier. In my own way:

I'll Make the Parents More Involved – The movie focuses on Bink’s adventure and the troubles he caused the kidnappers, but I would show really more of his lively mother , father and nanny’s struggle to find him. Maybe I'll add more scene where they were almost about to find him but miss him by seconds and twinkle of an eye.
Give the Kidnappers More Story – like for example Instead of just making them they foolish criminals, I would add a funny reason why they got into crime. Like Maybe they failed at other jobs because they are illiterate or the have a big debt they owe which makes them thinking that kidnapping is the last option.
Adding an Unexpected interesting Ending –So for me ,instead of the baby just returning home, maybe I'll add another one last moment where Bink causes one final and the most funniest and hilarious disaster for the criminals before reuniting with his beloved family.

My Final Thoughts

In all "Baby’s Day Out" is really a great movie back then and till now. It's a movie that will always make people laugh out their worries out. It shows how even a baby can outsmart real grown men without the baby walking. It’s packed with fun moments, surprises, and lot's of silly situations that will leave people that are watching really entertained. Whether this movie is being watch alone or with family, for me it’s really a great choice for a relaxing and enjoyable movie night for anyone.
