"Hidden skills, Loud cheers"
Greetings to everyone and i humbly welcome you all to my blog. Today is indeed a wonderful day and today am here once more to share my creativity with you all. First i would like to thank @ninapenda for organizing this wonderful contest titled " 🎬 Video Contest: "Hidden skills, Loud cheers"", allowing us to showcase our talent and skills. For this contest, The talent I am showing you today is the ability to create realistic pencil drawings—specifically, detailed illustrations of a vehicle that capture both technical accuracy and artistic emotion
What talent or skill are you showing us today? Explain
The talent I’m showing today is pencil drawing—specifically the technical skill of drawing realistic objects like vehicles. It’s more than just copying what I see; it involves understanding shape, form, proportion, light, and shadow. Below are the steps by step guide in creating this drawing.
Drawing materials
• A4 paper
• HB pencil
• 2B pencil
• eraser
• sharpener
• ruler
step 1
First i began with a simple sketch of the car, starting with it's front view, I used my ruler and pencil to carefully get the shape of it.
step 2
Next i drew the car back view and also began to draw the tyres of the car
step 3
After doing that, I then began to outline my work, carefully and steady I used my black pen to outline my drawing, and used a Hb pen to add details and darker lines.
step 4
Next i began to shade under of the vehicle to mimic it's shadow as shown in the drawing.
step 5
At this point, i darken my lines and added more details and shading to it and below is my final result
How did you discover you could do this?
I discovered this talent during my early school years. I would often doodle cars and bikes in my notebooks, more for fun than anything serious. One day, I drew a car and showed it to my friends—they were impressed, and their reactions sparked something in me. That was my first “loud cheer.” From there, I began watching tutorials, studying real-life photos, and experimenting with pencil grades and shading techniques. Gradually my sketching skills increased and here I am today.
How often do you use this talent in real life
I use this talent frequently—almost every day. Drawing has become part of my lifestyle. Whether it’s sketching vehicles, portraits, or conceptual art, I always find a few hours to practice. Sometimes I create full drawings; other times I just work on refining techniques like shading, line work, and proportion. It's a silent companion that allows me to escape, create, and express myself without words.
What would you do with this skill if the whole world noticed it?
If the world suddenly noticed this hidden skill, I would take it to new heights. I’d publish art books, launch tutorial videos on YouTube, and perhaps even collaborate with car brands or art platforms. My goal would be to inspire other young artists—especially those who think their skills are “hidden” or unworthy of attention. I’d use the spotlight to teach, grow, and build a creative community around technical pencil art.
In conclusion, this drawing is a symbol of more than just talent—it’s a voice for every creative soul working quietly behind the scenes. It proves that some of the loudest cheers come from those who take the time to notice what’s hidden beneath the surface. As the saying goes, not all engines are heard, but when they’re finally unleashed, they make the whole world turn its head.

A very entertaining video, both for its images and music. One recommendation is to record the video horizontally, so the drawing doesn't get cut off at the edges as it extends beyond the vertical frame of the phone.
Great drawing, dude.
