steem4Nigeria Accelerator Week 103 : Tomorrow
Hello great steemit community
I hope we are all doing well today. Seeing this contest topic “Tomorrow” brought back so many memories and reignited my dreams for the future. It reminded me of my childhood days, the goals, the visions, and the big dreams I once held close to my heart. Some of them are already unfolding, while others have slowly faded away.

Then I came across this powerful photo, and it struck me deeply. It pulled me into a moment of reflection and self-analysis, reminding me of where I started, where I am, and where I am going
Looking at this photo, I don’t just see a little boy in torn clothes staring into a mirror, I see myself. I see my today and my tomorrow meeting face to face. My today may look rough, my clothes may be worn out, my resources may be small, but my tomorrow shines bright with possibility.
Every tear on my shirt, every bare step on the dusty ground, every limitation I face today is only shaping me for the greatness that lies ahead. The boy in front of the mirror carries the burdens of now, but the reflection in the mirror carries the promises of tomorrow. That is exactly how I see my life. And this is exactly how I see my tomorrow.
Struggling as an undergraduate
Today a graduate
I dream of a tomorrow where my struggles are stories of motivation. I dream of walking into rooms I once only imagined, dressed not only in a fine suit but clothed in wisdom, confidence, and influence. I see myself standing tall, living out the purpose God created me for. My tomorrow is filled with achievement, not because life will suddenly become easy, but because I am determined to rise, no matter how heavy the weight of today feels.
My dream of becoming a teacher.
my lecturing dreams.
Today I may have a small suitcase, but tomorrow I will carry responsibilities, opportunities, and blessings too large to fit into any box. Today I may be barefoot, but tomorrow my steps will be guided into greatness. Today I may be looked down upon, but tomorrow I will be a testimony that dreams do come true.
What I expect from my tomorrow is not just riches or recognition, but transformation. I expect a future where my voice inspires, where my actions impact, and where my life reflects growth. My dreams for tomorrow are big, but they are not impossible. I want to build, to lift others, and to shine so brightly that those who knew my today will marvel at my tomorrow.
This picture reminds me that success starts with vision. Even if what I see around me is discouraging, I must keep my eyes on what I see within me. My reflection is a reminder that greatness is not in the clothes I wear now but in the dreams I carry. And those dreams are alive, pushing me forward every day.
So, when you see me today, don’t conclude on me yet. My story is still being written. My tomorrow holds laughter, progress, abundance, and fulfillment. My dreams are seeds, planted deep in the soil of my struggles, and soon they will bloom for the world to see.
I hold on to this truth: I am not defined by my today, I am defined by my tomorrow. And in that tomorrow, I see myself victorious, fulfilled, and unstoppable.
This is why I keep pushing. My tomorrow is waiting for me.
I have one of my tomorrows where I hope to become a lecturer, impacting knowledge into young and promising learners.
My yesterday was filled with dreams about today. I started in nursery school, then dreamed of moving into primary, secondary, and finally higher institutions. Along the way, my dream of becoming a Medical Laboratory Scientist shifted, I wanted to be a teacher, and from there, a lecturer.

Today, I see myself as a young lecturer in the making, a future professor. No longer the year-one student who once rushed from lecture to lecture, I now organize tutorial sessions, teach others, and assist people in their growth.
Looking into that mirror reveals more than my today, it shows me glimpses of my tomorrow. The mirror reflects the greatness ahead, reminding me that what I see now is just the beginning of what I am becoming.
My Tomorrow is my greatest dream.
