The dairy game || 3rd -08-2025 // Attending Children's harvest celebration in my Parish.
Hello Steemians, welcome to my diary game as I share with you all the remarkable children's harvest celebrations in my parish. Today, Sunday 3rd August, 2025, will remain one of the most beautiful and spiritually uplifting days I’ve experienced in recent times. We celebrated Children Harvest at St. Joseph Parish, Central Uruan, and it was nothing short of amazing and glorious.
All the children looked cheerful and well dressed in colorful attires, dancing and all looking excited.
The theme of the harvest is "Harvest of Jubilee" which centered around gratitude, fruitfulness, and childlike faith, and every part of the event reflected just that.

The Holy Mass began by 9am in the morning, with a powerful opening hymn led by the children’s choir, "Come God children let us sing" Their voices filled the church with a kind of purity and energy that touched every heart present. The officiating priest Very Rev.Fr. Dr. Patrick Umoesen delivered a soul-stirring homily, reminding us all of the importance of nurturing children in the ways of the Lord. He emphasized that children are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but gifts and blessings of today. He encouraged everyone to join the children in giving thanks to God.
During the offertory procession, all the children came out carrying different farm produce, yams, plantains, vegetables, and more, symbolizing thanksgiving to God for His provisions. The way the children marched with pride and reverence was truly heartwarming. It was a very glorious one.
Some of the children were invited to the high table, the children came out boldly and the chairman of the children harvest, gave a very powerful speech and made a huge donation to the parish. All the children in the high table even the ones that were not on the high table came out filled with joy to make their donation and support to the church.
All the parents and parishioners, celebrated with the children, coming out to make their support and praising the colour performances by the children.
Starting from the children who took the Bible reading, the children choir and The Mc . With today's celebration, I can say that the future of the parish is assured
After the children's thanksgiving, MOD ( Men of Order and Discipline) Nigeria visited the parish to establish and recruit members to the organization. They were given the opportunity to address the members and made their intention known
Myself performing my usual function as the parish Media and Publicity Team, I took all the necessary pictures of the children and each activity, also ensured I captured all the significant points and performances. As the homily centers on vanity upon vanity all is vanity. For waking up and seeing a new day, God deserves our praises. Thank you and God bless you all.
