Who is a Tailor?

A tailor is the one who designs clothing, makes, and alters as well as repairs the clothes to reflect perfect fitting on individual clients. Tailors make clothes in various fabrics, patterns and stitching to make suits, dresses, trousers, and shirts to fit according to personal measurements, styles, and fashion. They also possess instruments which include use of sewing machines, needles, scissors and measuring tapes to cut and sew pieces with precision.

Tailors can build a piece of clothing or simply alter the already pre-made clothes to enhance comfort and looks. They have to be very precise in their work, they have to be creative and have an eye of detail to satisfy fashion circumstances and customer demands. Tailors are a vital part of most cultures as they are the people who create customary clothing and occasion garments in most societies.

What are some criteria for a good tailor?

A good tailor is one that is able to prove itself through its skill, accuracy, customer service. They first have to make accurate measurements to guarantee that the clothes fit nicely without being uncomfortable. Their stitching must be neat, solid and durable, showing good handiwork. A fine tailor is familiar with garments materials, understands how each one acts to be cut, sewn or pressed. Creativity and fashion sense allow them to suggest styles that fits a client’s body and occasion.

And reliability too matters – as delivering work on time do make trust. Good communications means they listen to what customers want to achieve and offer expert advice, however. Attention to detail, from button placement to seams finished, offered a touch more. Lastly, accuracy in pricing and behaviour professionally will make clients trust the business so much to come back not once but twice.

Have you been disappointed by your tailor before?
What was your reaction and how did you manage?

I have been fooled by a tailor before, yes, and it was funny and frustrating. I would sew him something special weeks in advance to find that on the day of the event, the material just would not fit since it was badly stitched. What shocked and nearly angered me, I laughed it off rather than have it ruin my mood.

All I did was borrow a suit, quickly improvised it and I managed to make it to the event looking sharp as I usually do. Then I coolly told the tailor that I was not satisfied, and to better up. The experience led me to ensure that I always do my check-in early before the events to avoid such incidences, and I should have a backup plan at any time.

Can you recommend your tailor to steemians around? Tell us why we should patronize your tailor. You can also include your tailor's outlet environment, the pricing, the customer service, and more. If possible, a picture of your tailor's work.

Both clothes were made by him.

Definitely, I can suggest my tailor to steemians! He is very talented, trustworthy at this point when it comes to quality. His shop has a nice relaxed atmosphere and one feels free to negotiate your choice of style or fabric in his shop. He is extremely reasonable in his prices as compared to the quality of service, he designs clothes that cannot be better and stillthe individual is not spending a fortune on it.

His good customer service is one thing that I like because he is a good listener, he provides valuable comments, and he sticks to deadlines. Where I could, I would even post pictures of his work in order to demonstrate the clean finish work and the ingenious designs. He used to frequent this area but anyways, if you like you can contact me directly to get his contact- you will thank me later.

Thanks for reading my post I'm inviting
