Steemit meet-up is my first ever meeting with a virtual family. I've been seeing on social media how people who connect online get to meet physically. To me, it was just one of those not really important, until I attended the first meetup in Uyo, Nigeria.

Yes, I have attended Steemit meetups.
The first I attended was the Uyo Steemit meetup in December 2023. It was one of its kind. It bit my imagination. During that meet up, I experienced love, people with genuine care and support for each other. Not just that, I received mind-blowing lectures from our superiors that shaped my orientation of the Steemit platform.
My second Steemit meetup was the Steemit Nigeria National meetup in November 2024. Wow! It was a large convergence of great minds, it was an amazing reunion. I got to meet all my virtual friends and the great minds behind the Steemit4Nigeria community. Not just that, there were a series of lectures about the Steemit platform and how we can make a good post on the platform and eventually scale through without issues.

Meetup for Steemians is good.
- The meetup strengthens our relationship just beyond the virtual friends to establish a beautiful relationship outside the workspace (Steemit).
- Meet up is a time we get to wine and unwine after a whole year of hard work.
- I love Steemit meetups because it avails us the opportunity to learn more about the platform, widen our knowledge and also get informed about new ideas and innovations on the platform.
If given an opportunity to meet up with members of a community on Steemit, which community would that be? Give reasons |

I'll choose the Steemit4Nigeria community, that's because it is my root. Not that I won't meet with people outside my domain, I think the saying that "charity begins at home" is a great idea. I should build stronger bonds at home before aspiring to go far away.

I don't know if it's a question or not, but I've been wondering why the Steemit platform can't convert rewards for steemians into USDt as it usually showed on our content before its conversion into steems. This is because the price of steems on the market is heartbreaking.
Steemit meet-up is one of its kind. I would love to attend the meeting since I'm not that a social person. I use that as one of the mediums to leave my home to meet up with other people around me.
