The Diary Game: Washing Clothes, Cooking at Marriage Event, and Other Activities 20/09/2025

Saturday is normally a day that many events take place; even starting from our home, we do work at home on Saturdays, so it was a Saturday, and I started it with my activities at home before I proceeded to the marriage event center by the afternoon.
As the day broke, the weather was a little bit sunny, so I decided to wash my clothes, the kids, and my husband.
When I was washing, my second daughter came and sat closer to me and looked at how I was washing the clothes. It took me time to wash the clothes. I hung them, and after I took my bath and prepared breakfast and ate before going out in the afternoon.

In the afternoon I was at my friend's compound because his son is getting married, so she called me to come and help her cook the different types of food for the occasion. When I went there, she gave me Afang soup to prepare and also fried rice, so I took charge of the cooking. The Afang soup was what took me time, because of the process, so I assigned some things for other people to help me tidy up and cook it so that I will meet up with the target. It was a stressful moment in the kitchen.

In the evening time, when I came back from the event, I tried to prepare the meal. As the night was closer, I rushed to make it so that my kids would sleep so as to wake up from bed early and prepare for church, so I bathed them and also bathed myself. That was how my day went; it was, by his grace, a successful day for me.
