Hello Everyone !

Watch a movie from a country other than your own country or not of your country's origin.

🎬 Movie : Train to Busan

Country of Origin: South Korea
Language: Korean (with subtitles in Urdu)

Talk about the main idea of the movie.

So I recently watched a Korean movie with my little sister , Train to Busan and it was very emotional and heart touching. That movie iwas about a dangerous zombie virus that starts spreading fast. Many people are trapped inside a moving train while the virus is turning humans into zombies by bitting them .

The story shows us that how different people react in such a scary and life threatening situation. Some people become very selfish and only care about saving themselves.. But there are also some real heroes in the train they help othersz, protect those around them, and even risk their own lives.

The movie showed us love, loyalty, and sacrifice. I saw that some characters were ready to save others even if it meant putting their own lives in danger. And there was a strong emotional bond shown between a father and his daughter, and also between a husband and his pregnant wife. These relationships made the movie even more emotional for me.

The ending made me cry a lot. The main character sacrifices his own life to save his daughter and a pregnant woman. That scene broke my hearrt, but it also gave a very powerful message that even in difficult times, we should care for others and help them.

Share the characters.

Seok-woo – He is the main character, a busy and serious father who works all the time and doesn’t give much attention to his daughter. But when the disaster begins, his heart slowly changes. Through all the pain and dangeer, he learns the real meaning of love, care, and sacrifice. By the end, he becomes a true hero not just for his daughter but for others too.

Soo-an – She is Seok-woo’s little daughter. So innocent and brave. All she wants is to go to Busan to see her mother. Even though shee is a child, she stays strong through everything. She cares for people around her and never becomes selfish. Her emotional scenes brought tears to my eyes.

Sang-hwa – At first, he looks like a bit of a rough and egoistic man, but he actually has a golden heart. He is very strong and fights fearlessly to save others.. He protects his pregnant wife and helps strangers without thinking twice. His character made a strong impact on me.

Seong-kyeong – She is Sang-hwa’s pregnant wife. Even while carrying a baby, she remains kind, calm, and helpful. She supports Soo-an and others during the crisiis. I loved her gentle nature and the way she stayed strong, even when things were going wrong.

Yon-suk – He is the selfish businessman in the train. He only cares about saving his own life. His fear turns him into a heartless person, and because of his actions, many people suffer. His character shows how fear and selfishness can destroy others.

Describe the plot and setting of the movie.

The story begins in Seoul, where Seok-woo, a busy father, boards a train with his little daughter Soo-an. They are traveling to Busan, where her mother lives. But during the journey, a deadly virus starts spreading, turnis normal people into fast, violent zombies. As the infection spreads, panic rises, and soon the passengers inside the train find themselves in a life or ddeath situation.

The train stops at two or three stations, where people hope to find safety and escape the zombies. But every time they step out, they are met with more danger. The stations are not safe the virus has already reached there too.. So, the survivors are forced to fight the zombies and run back to the train.

In one of the most intense scenes, only four main characters are left unharmed: Seok-woo, his daughter Soo-an, a pregnant woman (Seong-kyeong), and one selfish man. But then, tragedy strikes that selfish man gets infected and turns into a zombie, attacking the others inside the train.

This leads to an emotional and heartbreaking moment when Seok-woo gets bitten while fighting the infected man to protect the others. Knowing he will soon turn into a zombie, he says goodbye to his daughter in a very touching scene, and then he jumps off the moving train while smiling and remmebring his life's beautiful moment's to keep her safe.

In the end, only Soo-an and the pregnant woman survive. They finally reach Busan, where soldiers are ready to protect them. The movie ends with Soo-an tearfully singing a song she wanted to sing for her parents, while walking through a tunnel to safety. It’s a sad but powerful ending that showed love, sacrifice, and hope even in the darkest times.

If you were the Director of the movie what would you do differently?

If I were the director of "Train to Busan,* I would have added a final scene after Soo-an and the pregnant woman reached Busan. I really wanted to see what happened next in their lives.

For example, I would show how Soo-an meets her mother,, emotional that moment would be, after everything she went through. It would be touching to see her mother hugging her tightly, crying, and realizing the great sacrifice her father made to save their daughter.

I would also show how Soo-an grows up, carrying the memory of her father’s bravery in her heart. Maybe she becomes someone strong, kind, and helpful just like her father in the end. Maybe she helps others in tough situations too.

And for the pregnant woman, I would have shown how she gives birth safely and raises her child with strength and courage. It would be emotional to see how she lives without her husband but keeps his memory alive through her child. She could also become an inspiration to others, showing that even in pain, life goes on with hope.
