The Secret to Strong Relationships
Hello steemians, greetings to you all...
I'm so excited to participate on this lovely contest titled: "The Secret to Strong Relationships" organized by ruthjoe in this wonderful community, it's a pleasure to be here honestly.
What do you believe is the number one secret to a strong relationship? |
---|
Effective communication to me is considered to be the most important secret to a strong relationship, sometimes I called it talk it out 😂, might sound funny but I know why I'm saying that, lack of talk it out destroyed lots of relationships today, because when you talk it out, I would be able to listen attentively and even go beyond knowing your wants and what you don't want.
Again when there's effective communication one can be able to know the pressing needs of his or her partner, and you will be to understand and see things beyond each other's perspectives, also there would be respect and understanding, absence of effectiveness in communication tends to make relationship look boring and breakable.
What role does active listening play in building stronger connections? |
---|
Active listening helps in building stronger emotional intimacy leading to stronger connections, to be honest when there is active listening, there's going to be less problems in relationship, whether between a boyfriend and a girlfriend or couple.
This active listening entails all it takes to make a relationship works, knowing and understanding each other needs, feelings, thoughts and concern for one another, so by practicing these attributes of active listening, it certainly build a stronger relationship, that's how I saw these from my own perspective.
Can a relationship survive without forgiveness? Why or why not? |
---|
Not at all, just like the way a car cannot move without fuel that's how I view forgiveness in a relationship, relationship whether in the family, or outside the family, between couple or boyfriend and girlfriend cannot work if there is not forgiveness.
Just learn to say sorry and the relationship would work perfectly fine, though saying is not necessary you are wrong, but is a sign of maturity and a sign let's make it work again simple.
Forgiveness is the strong bone to any kinds of relationships, even in business, if you did not forgive your fellow business partner because he boycott you on one deal or the other the business tend to crumble likewise in a relationship, it will suffer lose.
What’s a common mistake people make in relationships that weakens them over time? |
---|
One of the common mistakes people make in relationship that weakens them over time is Lack of effective communication, like there'll not be call or text for days, weeks, or months how do you expect that relationship to work?
What makes relationship stronger is effective communication and what makes it weaker is lack of effectiveness in communication, and like I said a car cannot move unless theres fuel likewise if there's no effective communication forgiveness cannot take place and if there is forgiveness, relationship works fine and becomes more stronger, like it just started today today, ( it happened between me and my girlfriend 😎once we have issues and we were able to talk it out and we understand the problem and forgive and forget, gbam the relationship renewed 🤭and it becomes stronger again).
So lack of effective communication destroys lots of marriages and homes today, it might look as if what's communication? But is very significant to any kind of relationships, and if that is not taken into consideration it will continues destroying our relationship with people around in our community or homes. So, thank you all for reading my post....
I'm inviting @josepha, @goodybest, @suboohi and @miftahulrizky for the contest.
