Explain greed and how people with this behavior can be identified

Greed is when someone desires something in excess of their rightful share. They are people who lack gratitude, so greedy people continue to desire more, even if it means taking what belongs to others.

One example of greed is when someone goes to a party where there is food. As we know, each person is allowed to eat only one portion. However, greedy people usually eat more food, depriving others of food that should be enjoyed as well.

In your opinion, can greed be equated with food and drink alone? Explain

Although greedy people usually like to eat or drink more, consuming food and drink that is not theirs. However, a person's greed cannot be judged solely by food or drink. A person can become greedy if they want to take someone else's rights, whether it be money, possessions, position, clothing, or so on.

Because in my opinion, if someone can afford to eat and drink more food, but it's all their own, that's not considered greed, because what they consume is their own right and doesn't harm others.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this is a natural state or something that can be managed or controlled? Let us know

I think greed is an attitude that can be managed wisely, not a natural state. It usually comes from people who can't manage their emotions well. Some people become greedy because they are jealous when they see others possessing more wealth than they do, so they will justify any means to compete with that wealth.

This is one of the causes of greed that we must avoid, because greed is very dangerous, and hopefully, we can control our emotions so we don't become greedy.

What advice can you give to people experiencing such conditions?

Be grateful for what you have now and don't be too greedy, because greed can destroy yourself, therefore strive to be a better person, and if you see that it is the right of others, give them and feel content with what you get and what you eat now.

This is my entry for the Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 99: Addiction to Excessive Consumer Goods-(Greed), I also want to invite @dekki, brother @max-pro and also brother @cymolan to participate together in this contest.
