The Heavy Downpour that interrupted my business today// 19-06-2025.
Today was a very hectic day for me in office, I arrived my office around 8 am and started working on the remaining printing jobs I left in office yesterday. Around 3:45 pm the sky started getting darker, and the rain started pouring with a little storm.
At first, it was just a gentle breeze, but within minutes, it had escalated into a fierce gust that sent people scurrying for cover. I was still trying to meet a timely delivery for a client. But as the wind howled and the rain lashed down seriously, I found it increasingly difficult to focus.

Documents began to blow off my desk, and I had to quickly gather them before they were scattered all over the office. I tried to secure them, but the wind was too strong. It was then that I realized I had to take drastic action. I quickly switched off my printing machines and generator, knowing that the storm could easily damage them.
But just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, the wind ripped off a section of the roofing sheet, and my office began to leak. Water poured in, flooding the floor and threatening to damage my equipment. At this point, I had to act fast.

I spent the rest of the day scooping water from my office, trying to salvage what I could. It was a backbreaking task, but I knew it had to be done. As the storm raged on outside, I worked tirelessly to mop up the water and restore some semblance of order to my office.

As the day drew to a close, I surveyed the damage. My office was a mess, but thankfully, my equipment was still intact. I had lost valuable time, but I knew that I would have to make up for it another day.
As I locked up and headed home, I felt a sense of relief. The storm may have disrupted my business, but it had also taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. And as I drifted off to sleep this night, I know that I would be better equipped to face whatever challenges that will come my way.
Thank you for going through my post. Do have a great time ahead.
