What is one healthy habit you
practice regularly?
The habit I practice regularly is drinking enough water every day. Drinking enough water will make you look healthy and young, it keeps the body hydrated, and it also helps in digestion.
60% of the human body is made of water, so taking water every day will keep you hydrated. Many people always eat without drinking water; please stop it because it's a bad habit, and if you're used to drinking a small quantity of water after eating, also stop it.
If you take enough water, it will maintain your body system and it will make your body function well.
If I wake up in the morning every day, I always drink one cup of water, and believe me, this habit has been helping me grow, and I am already used to it.
We have many important reasons for drinking enough water. Here are some important reasons.
- Help in digestion: taking enough water is very good because it aids in digestion. Most of the time, you will find out that if you want to go to the toilet, you will find it very difficult; it is because you don't take enough water.
Also always try to drink water after eating, and after you wake up from sleep.
Regulate body temperature: taking water also helps to regulate body temperature, especially in hot weather.
Helping in boosting your energy: taking water will help to boost your energy. Many people always get weak and tired due to a lack of water and rest, so always remember to take water.
When and why did you start this habit?
I started this habit when I was still little. My mother would always tell me to finish one cup of water after eating. I found it very difficult then, because I thought she was punishing me, but now I know the benefits of taking enough water.
How has it improved your physical, mental, or emotional health?
This habit has improved both my physical, mental, and emotional health.
Taking enough water also prevents many diseases in your body, so it has improved my body so well that I don't always get sick, I am always fit to do anything, walk, run, and even carry heavy things.
Always looking healthy and strong, all because of drinking enough water everyday
Many people can't walk for 1 hour and they will be complaining that their back, their legs are aching, but in my case, the reverse is the case.
Also, mentally, not drinking enough water leads to headaches and poor concentration.
What challenges did you face while trying to keep up with it?
I didn't face many challenges trying to keep up with drinking enough water every day, but sometimes I forget to drink water whenever I wake up from sleep.
At times, I will eat without drinking water, because I will be rushing for school, or I am not feeling thirsty.
Another challenge I am facing in trying to keep up my habit is a lack of water sometimes. As a student, I always lack water, especially drinking water, because buying water with money every day is not always very easy.
Another one is nighttime inconvenience: drinking water at night, especially drinking enough quantity, will make you wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, which is always so annoying sometimes.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start this habit too?
Start small and make it easy. Carry a water bottle with you everywhere and take small sips throughout the day. Set reminders on your phone or use a water-tracking app to stay consistent. Try drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning and before each meal. If plain water feels boring, add slices of lemon, cucumber, or fruit to give it some flavor. Over time, your body will adjust, and it will become a natural part of your routine.

Good morning Ufan Mmi. I know I can choose another healthy habits that I have developed over the years. Dear have you not noticed that it should be absolutely personal? Though I'm a good writer and I have developed so many healthy habits all through the years that I can write on. You're indirectly motivating me. You've made me think of another thing to write on. This will personally widen my thinking horizon. I wish you were here to assist me with the writing. I wish you luck in the contest. However I want to ask, sweetheart why do you mostly use filter while taking selfies?
