Hello friends, it's been a while here as I've been up to my neck in the past few weeks. Did I miss writing to you and also reading your wonderful contents here??. I definitely did. I have learnt a good number of things from the diverse groups of people in this community. Things about ways of life of different tribes, their food, their hospitality, culture etc and it's been a joy ride.

Being with children, you can attest that they always have something up their sleeves. It doesn't matter if it concerns them directly or not😂. When I started getting an invite for a school graduation party a month away, I knew I was in for it. Allow me walk you through It.
I was asked to produce a black baggy jeans, mum was asked for a white canvas and so on.
A circular had been passed by school authority that we were to be there by 11:30am but they didn't start until some minutes past 1pm. Nigerians and Nigerian time 5&6.

You see this young man in the first frame?. He kept disturbing that he wanted to go for his aunt's graduation party to the point where I thought he was the MC of the day, alas, I'll tell you more about him as we go on. Like I said we arrived earlier and had to wait for other parents and pupils to come. By this time, my young man had slept off on my body. The oga was just sleeping peacefully, even with the loud songs the speaker was playing. So much for all the gragra😂😂

Anyways, the party got started and as is done in Igbo customs, the sharing of colanut and garden egg to welcome visitors, then the festivities began proper.

The singing of the national and school anthem, drama by several sets of students both nursery, primary and secondary, their theme song - Heal the world, fashion parades, the list kept coming. At some point I had to ask for the the graduation itinerary to see how far we had gone as the kids kept coming with one activity or not. Trust the MC to raise money from parents from each activity😂😂 and my little baby participated in almost all😂😂😂😭.

Before we could say Jack of all trades, the weather had changed and the rains were imminent. I think God heard my prayers as the rest of the activities were scrapped and teachers hurriedly gave their students the awards and their report cards. We were home bound but then the rains started. We had to wait for a few minutes for the torrents to pour and the sky let up. I couldn't be happier 😂😂.

I had achieved my goal of making them smile uncontrollably today, even if it Cost me a little fortune. We go again next year🤗
