Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in the steem4nigeria accelerator contest which is titled "Over indulgence in consumables-(Gluttony)"


Explain gluttony and how a person with such behaviours can be identified.

Gluttony according to my own personal knowledge can simply be seen as a person who takes too much delight in eating too much and also being greedy.


This is some kind of food addiction where such a person loves or develops the habit of eating too much and sometimes in secret so as not to share with others.


Do you think a gluttonous person can be likened to just food and drinks? Explain.

As long as the term greediness is being included in the meaning of glutton trust me a gluttonous person can not only be likened to just food and drinks, they are stingy kind of person that finds it difficult to share what they have with others.


A gluttonous person can be likened to money as well, they can never give you money as tips or what so ever, in their mind they think that their money will finish when they give others something.


So a gluttonous person is a stingy kind of person who holds firm all that they have be it food or material things, they find it very difficult to share and majority of them are always lonely.

What is your view of this? Do you think it's a natural situation or something one can manage or control? Tell us.

Some people are born like that, being gluttonous maybe as a result that one of their parents or someone in their family tree was like that, but for what is what it can be worked on and improved upon.


So at a certain point it can be a natural situation at the same time it can be managed and controlled, through avoiding and creating some level of distractions that could take the minds off food for a while or sometimes go into dieting or some certain levels of therapy.


What advice do you have for people who find themselves in such a condition?

I would give them almost the same advice as I'd stated above earlier, food is always nice and very much satisfying but in other to fight off this kind of habit it's advisable that such a person finds some certain level of distraction that would help redirect that focus from food only to something else worth doing.


So to the victims, create a distraction that would serves as a decoy, go into dieting and above all try and share this with the people around you.
