Hello steemians and fellow members of steem4nigeria community. Greetings to everyone. I'm here to share my
views on this topic for this week. I want to thank @steem4nigeria for organizing this contest. this will give me the impetus to express all that was kept inside of me patterning to this topic. I love this topic. it's very interesting. I just hope you enjoy reading my contribution.
Do you know how to ride a bicycle or a car?
I think riding a bicycle and driving a car should be a survival skill just like swimming and cooking.
I don't think there's anyone who would be happy when he or she doesn't know how to ride a bike. Though learning to ride a bicycle can be tough, especially when you want to learn it all by yourself.
I know how to ride a bicycle and I also know how to drive a car. However in this post I will be talking more about bicycle because I still ride bicycle till date. I learned how to ride a bicycle when I was a teenager. My elder brother Ephraim Inyang was my tutor. Talking about my elder brother I want to use this medium to thank him for teaching my how to read, ride bike and learn how to select my taste of music. A big shout out to Ephraim Inyang.
Learning how to ride a bike was not a child's play thing. I don't know if I wasn't a fast learner or that I was learning it at the wrong time. But my brother didn't really take it easy with me. I won't forget those beatings during the tutorials. However I still appreciate him for his patience because after all I could still achieve the set goal of knowing how to balance while riding a bicycle.
Share the story of how you learnt to ride a bicycle or drive a car or both?
It wasn't easy. It was full of ups and downs. A very tedious task. Though my teacher or tutor was an expert. He made sure he used his past experiences on the same expedition to tutor me properly.
Learning to ride a bicycle wasn't easy compared to driving a car. The automobile already has balance but in riding a bicycle you have to maintain balance. Like I mentioned earlier it was my elder brother who taught me how to ride a bicycle. It took him a couple of months to achieve that. As I'm talking to you I still have scars of some of the injuries I sustained during the tutorials. It was in my mother's village. We were using my grandma's bicycle. After I got used to it I couldn't unlearn it. Though it was tough at the starting, but my elder sibling saw me through it all.
Tell us your opinion on which is more easier to learn, riding a bicycle or driving a car? Support with reasons.
From my experience I will like to let you know that riding a bicycle is more herculean than driving a car. It apparently took
me a couple of months to literally know how to ride a bicycle compared to driving a car which was just some days. Though the number of times I rode a bike can't be compared to the numbers of time I drove a car.
Cars are already balanced compared to bicycle. However bicycle are safer when it comes to safety regulations.
Bicycle requires physical efforts, and balance while driving a car is all about operating the machine. However you can't fall off a car while driving.
It took me months to learn how to maintain balance on a bicycle while I could drive a car just the first day I tried. Though cars are complex, however, as time goes on we get used to it.
In my opinion cars are easier than bicycle. due to the experience I had while trying to learn both.
Note: This is my personal collections of experience
