Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 106: If I were to be a Billionaire

Hello steemians and fellow members of steem4nigeria community. Greetings to everyone. I'm here to share my
views on this topic for this week. I want to thank @steem4nigeria for organizing this contest. this will give me the opportunity to express all that was kept inside of me patterning to this topic. I love this topic. it's very interesting. I just hope you enjoy reading my contribution.

If you were a billionaire or eventually become a billionaire someday, list the things you would have done or loved to do. Tell us reasons why you'd like to do them.

Note: This are my personal views. There are no pretence or trying to please people with my opinion. Whatever I'm going to write right now is personal.
The true character of money is in the hands of the holder. Money itself is not the root of any evil.
Having a lot of money is freedom. It will get you open to many choices in life. Your decision of what to do with your wealth can be tricky sometimes. Here are a few things I would do if I were a billionaire.

• I would build a school for creative and talented individuals. This school will help develop kids who are exceptional. The school will be free of charge.

• I would invest into the lives of people around me. Which is my family and friends. I would ask them to use the money I give them to start a legitimate business so we can all rise together. In that way non of us in my circle will be broke.

• I would invest in myself like my other celebrities do. I would start a company in my name just like Rihanna Fenty and others did.

• I would connect with other billionaires and open a charity organizations where other like minds could come together and lift serious people out of poverty by empowering them. I will engage with other philanthropies around the globe just to help people.

• I will never do anything controversial just to get popularity in a negative way. I would stand for what is right.
  I would advise everyone in my league to live a low profile lifestyle to avoid resentment from poor people who hates the rich.

• I would build an ultramodern hospital in my town and get people treated for free for a certain period of time before starting to charge them. This will help people who don't have money enough to treat their ailments.

List at least 3-5 billionaires you know and what you admire about them.

I know a whole lot's of billionaires however I will mention they once you can easily identify, especially if you're a music lover like me. I don't only love music. I also use it as my medicine of escapism.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty who is 1.4 billion USD as at February 2025.
Those who knows me so well knows that Rihanna is my biggest celebrity among all other celebrities in the entire world. This girl rose to fame by meeting Jay Z. Her music career paved way for her to become what she is today. She wisely used her popularity to start up a business with her family name FENTY. Now she owns chains of business with franchises all over the world just with her name.

Taylor Swift is said to be 1.6 billion USD as at February 2025. Other celebrities I mentioned became wealthy for having other business however in the the case of Taylor Swift, she used her music career to gather her own wealth. She's so popular that a lot of people admire the effort she put into producing musics.
She's also one of my favorites celebrity. Sometimes when I get bored of Rihanna's song I switch to that of Taylor Swift.

Jay Z is 2.6 billion USD and that was recorded in February of 2025. The growth is so rapid.
There are so many reasons I like jay Z. He's a rap god. He got the name Hova which is abbreviation for Jehovah because he is excellent in his career. I admire his humility. He was the one who brought my favorite celebrity Rihanna into stardom by signing her into his record label Roc Nation. That's how Rihanna rose to fame. Hova keep using his record label to bless up coming stars. Recently he just signed our own daughter Ayrar Star.

One thing I admire about my favorite billionaires. They touch both money and lives. The more money they touch the more lives they touch. They often use their money to bless others.

Do you think being a billionaire can solve all your problems? Give your reason.

Being a billionaire doesn't mean you won't face life challenges. Money can solve a lot of our problems. However money can't solve all our problems.

• Money can't buy love from a partner or lover. In case you think I'm wrong let me elaborate a little.
  Money or much money will get so many people attracted to you. It can even help you buy fake love.

• Money can never give you a perfect health. You have to discipline yourself to achieve the type of health you want. You need to exercise, eat healthy and sleep well to attain tip top shape and stay sound.

• Money can buy you freedom. However, it can't buy time. Time is so precious and priceless, once gone you can't get it back, no matter how wealthy you are. Time is the most important commodity on earth. That's why we should learn to appreciate people who genuinely give us their time.

• Money can't get you treatment from diseases without medication drugs and pains. Regardless of who are or what you have attained in life you must pass through healing process from treatments like every other person. There is no different way for treatments from certain diseases.

• Your money can't stop natural disasters. What must be will be. Some things like natural disasters are beyond human control, no matter how wealthy you are you can't stop or control it.

• Plenty of money won't change your true character. It will rather amplify it. For example, If you were a criminal when you were poor you will still remain a criminal. Perhaps, you will do it more than when you were poor or broke.

• Having plenty money won't change your spending habit. If you don't know how to manage your money you will eventually fail to manage your money wisely. You may even spiral down back to poverty.

• Money. Money. Money. Money is a tool in order to buy things or acquire financial stability however it will not clear personal problems such as dissatisfaction, loneliness, depression, rejection, envy, laziness or entitlement.. Money or much money can't solve all our problems

So no amount of money can solve all my problems. it's totally impossible.

Are there some challenges associated with being a billionaire? Enumerate them.

• First and foremost you won't know who loves you genuinely. Everyone around you will be "yes sir" or "yes ma." They won't debate with your views, decision and choices. You won't know who truly cares for you. That is very risky because people will never show their true character. Therefore you won't know the real them.

• Second, is listening problem. You will have difficulties in believing other people except they have solid evidence. constantly struggling to believe others can pose as a problem. They won't listen to you except you're of the same level with them, driving, eating and perhaps wearing a certain kind of clothes. You must live a certain life before they give you a listening ear.

• They become target for criminal. You have to get securities to watch over you and your children. Even your properties aren't safe. You have to secure everything you posses. This makes it impossible to live a private life.

• Another thing is trust issues. On a daily basis you have to deal with so many people. family, friends and strangers.
  Most of this people just don't care. They are after your success.

• Another one is that their children don't know reality. Since they're being taken care of, they experience what we call false reality until the real reality hits them hard.

Is being rich or millionaire against your belief as an individual? Explain

Even though plenty of money can't solve all our problems however that doesn't mean we shouldn't have plenty money. Becoming wealthy will apparently solve a lot of problems for you. It will also stop a lot of B.S. (bullshit) or nonsense.

You see. One of my favorite celebrity Rick Ross always say that poverty is the root of all evil. Honestly he's so right. If you see the numbers of poor people who gets into crime just make money for survival.

Money or love of money can never be evil. money can't hurt you or others. It only depends on who's holding the money. The individual with the money makes to money evil and not the money itself.

I can't pretend I love money and I want it as much as I can handle.
