The Secret to Strong Relationships

Introduction.

The secret to building and maintaining amazing relationships and friendships is simple. It is for you to practice the law of indirect effort. This law states that you must get out of yourself and your own preoccupations in order to get into other people and how they apparently think and feel.
So therefore, if you want to have a friend, you must first be a friend.

What do you believe is the number one secret to a strong relationship?

Everyone has different views in this particular contest. I will be speaking from my personal honest views.
I want to let you know that nothing can beat communication in relationships is the only secret to making it strong.
Communication is the foundation of all kinds of relationship or friendship. If you're a good communicator and listener then your relationships with other people will wax strong and blossom like roses. Communication will lead to better understanding and compatibility. Continuous communication smoothens the bond and create atmosphere for better connection. Look, this isn't about only romantic relationship. We can express our thoughts and feelings through communication, thus communication is the most important aspect of all relationships. Bad communicators can't successfully build a strong relationship connection.

What role does active listening play in building stronger connections?

The power of listening can't be swept under the carpet just like that. Listening is a very vital aspect of relationship we shouldn't take for granted.
Listening enhances relationship between two people who intend to understand each other.
assumptions can damage our relationship with people without us knowing. So listening leads to vivid understanding. It helps us build bonds and strong connection.
Women love great listeners. In all my relationships with the opposite gender I have observed that women love us(men) when we listen more and probably talk less.
Listening is also a communication skills. attentive listeners are more intellectually and emotionally sharp. Thus, listening will always help us know people better.

Can a relationship survive without forgiveness? Why or why not?

The outright answer to this question is big NO. No relationship on earth can survive without forgiveness. Someone once said that "marriage is the coming together of two people who are ready to forgive each always "
Reasons are that forgiveness create way for trust and understanding after certain back and forth arguments. We must learn to forgive people because nobody is devoid of errors. Secondly, when we forgive other we indirectly do ourself the favour of getting the burden of grudges off our chest and see our offender in another light.
forgiveness is crucial in every relationship since we're all imperfect creatures.

What’s a common mistake people make in relationships that weakens them over time?

Distrust. Yes distrust .When you constantly do things that leads to distrust, it will definitely weaken your relationship with others. The power of trust in every relationship can't be underestimated.
When there's plenty of trust then such relationship can pass through thick and thin without fears. When there's no trust the the relationship is in jeopardy. It can't thrive through.
We should learn to be honest in our relationships so we can earn trust and understanding.

Conclusion

Our relationship and lifestyle are perhaps the most important element of a happy, fulfilling life. They require a lifelong exercise of self-discipline and willpower to create and maintain harmony. They require that you be open, honest and candid at all times.
