Stuck out: My Wednesday lockout adventure
It was on a Wednesday morning, I came to my shop, dropped the things I brought from home and lock the shop to the market.
I actually went to the market to buy thing I will be using for my participation in the salad learning challenge. After spending over 3 hours in the market looking for those items because it was not easy to find them. They were scarce since it is rarely used and the seller don't like selling them.
Fortunately enough for me I found I place to buy them.
After returning from the market tire and exhausted, on arriving the shop, I try to open the padlock, it refuse to open. I thought I had use the wrong key. I removed and try again, it was still not responding. I called a neighbour in the nearby shop to help me open the padlock but they three girls available tried and it all failed. I was frustrated and disappointed.
At that point, I called my husband to know if he is close and if he can come and assist me.
He promised to be with me in an hour's of which he did.
He Came with his colleague from work and they both tried with my husband's key 🗝️, it still didn't open.
We put some lubricants and it wasn't responding.
I was frustrated, disappointed and angry, I was also hungry.
I spent over two hours waiting outside
My husband had to go home and brought some iron saw 🪚 in other to cut the padlock because it was a very strong padlock that cannot be easily be broken.
He spent close to an hour trying to cut the padlock and after many trial by him and his colleague, he successfully cut the pad.
That was 3:30pm, I went in and relaxed as I was so tired and hungry.
I was so worried on how I will spent so much to get another key as the one we just cut was still very new.
Thanks to my husband he bought a new key fir me that evening.
The new key cost ₦10,000 that is approximately 53 steem.
That was how lock out Wednesday story ended.
It wasn't an easy thing for you that day I was there and I felt pity for you. Sometimes keys can be that annoying . I'm glad you were able to open it and entered. But then keys are expensive this days ooo what if you don't have 53steem at that time to buy new one. maybe you will employ me as the security lady until you have the key money hahaha
Hahahaa, I can't stop laughing, my security woman ooooo.
My I thank God I successfully had my way in.
Thank you so much @ruthjoe for the support
