You've raised salient points. We need solitude and companionship at some points in our lives.

What I'd add is that conflict is inevitable amongst every living creature. People fight and argue. But they grow stronger bond when they learn to manage their differences.

If you stay with someone less toxic, more empathetic and mature, you'd never regret the experience. I can't count the number of times my companions have helped me identify areas I need improvement in my personal and professional life.

We just need more healthy relationships.
