Attending Regional Convention Day 1 Themed Pure Worship with fellow Steemians

Have you thought about how you'll feel after being enlightened about God's words. I guess your answer will be captivating and ready to impact your world of contact. That was how I felt on Friday 1st of August 2025. Permit me to get straight to the narrative.

Prior to the date, I was invited by @bossj23 and @ngoenyi for this year's Regional Convention. I wasn't able to attend last year's edition, so I promised myself that I won't miss this year's edition. With that, I woke up to have my morning devotion. Then I proceeded to work on my morning chores as everyone will leave the house since schools were scheduled on that day.

My phone rang, the caller was Bossj23. His intent was to tell me to prepare as we'll be moving soonest. The event was scheduled to start by 8.20am. I began preparing a few minutes after 7am which I caught up with. Actually, Bossj23 actually boarded a public transport which took I, @whitie and the host Bossj23 to the event. Moments later, we arrived at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium which happened to be the location of that event.

The huge banner with the theme boldly written "Pure Worship" was displayed at the entrance of the stadium. We moved in and had our first photography session with the host, Bossj23 before moving into the building. Inside the building, we were opportune to meet up with the Chairman address. After the address, there were other sessions like feature Bible drama, Symposia, and many others. After the last session which was "Who really rules the world", we sang song no 22 and went for a break.

During this break, Bossj23 went for his photography gigs while Whitie and I searched for Ngoenyi and her family. I was told the section and we moved there. Luckily, I saw her and we went up to meet her. She was glad to see us and we were opportune to see other Steemians like @goodybest, @leosmart and other. Ngoenyi treated us to a meal which was delicious.

Later on, we met with the whole family and we were delighted to see them which was the same feeling with them. After the break, we resumed the afternoon session which featured a documentary symposium. We were led to symbolic places where Jesus Christ has his ministry on Earth.

There, I learnt a lot about the geographical areas and their significance to the gospel. Bossj23 treated us to pastries and soft drinks during the afternoon session. The afternoon session came to a close after singing Song no 34 and a closing prayer.

After the program, we were able to locate the Bossj23 mother and siblings where we moved home together. Since Bossj23 is the host of the ongoing Voice of Steemit Contest, we left the bus and paid our way to Ibom Tropicana where he did the video there. After the experience and video session there, we went back home tired but fulfilled. When I entered the house, I long for one thing at that moment which is rest.
