RE: Cancellation of Candidation as Steem Representative

Well, my friend, I'm really sad that you won't be staying in that group.
I understand your reasons, and if the feeling of being ruled by arbitrary bosses bothers you, follow your common sense and your intuition.

I'll be one of those who miss your statistical analyses.

Still, I'll continue to be one of your fans. 🎉🎉

There was a quote from our kitty friend that made me stop and think. I don't remember exactly, but it confronted me with my dependence on SC votes on Steemit. I still said enough.

P.S.
What plans do you have for the arTeem Community?
If you see anything I can support, I'm at your service.

Sort:

arTeem is a dead community, and I dont really have any plan about it anymore. The story of arTeem began long before the split, on the first year of Steem history, 2017. I created it as a community for artist, as the name suggest, arTeem = art on Steem. Long story short, it did not go as planned, although we (around 50 accounts as members at that time) had our moments. We even had class on Discord channel where some senior Steemians (el-nailul, gibic, and some others) gave lectures to new Steemians at that time. El-nailul was the Person in Charge and responsible for this. The class was held twice a week.

Only sweet memories remain.

Some times ago, when I came back to Steem, I saw that Steem has now had the community feature, I just went and created the Community for the sake of old memories. And no one from before showed up. All of them have been inactive, maybe for lack of support at previous period (before the split).

Anyway, thanks for asking.

How does it work, exactly? Say I see something I think deserves some love, what do I do? I tag you with special message like, maybe, "Something juicy here, @joslud." ?

Ok, I acept.

Staying in what group? There's no answer, no group, no descision made. It feels like a long time ago we applied.

I wonder how you can support everywhere but also if it's healthy for communities to see you everywhere. Do communities still have their own face? I remember Dream Steem in September 2024, Spanish was a huge problem during #wewrite now I see the next Venezuelan community and the specific place for stories and poetry I once promoted seem to be lost. It's a total different community compared with the start of 2024. I find it unhealthy.
