It's actually my pleasure to be part of this challenge. The creation of a YouTube channel has never been a problem for me, but I'll be taking a full step to approach it in a different way this time. As part of a class topic, I will focus on a niche, customise it so that it entices my viewers to become subscribers, and then possibly upload quality videos shot against better backgrounds. This journey to the creation of a YouTube channel will definitely be unique. In 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, I created my first-ever YouTube video, where I sang my own song, which I titled "VUM VUM CORONA", motivated by young musicians like Rema and Nasty C. I wanted to become a celebrity, but the many things were a limitation. I am confident that with @walictd's complete guidance, I will be able to start earning money from YouTube this time. I promised to follow through until the end. Let's proceed....

Creating A YouTube Channel

Creating a YouTube channel necessitates the ownership of a Google account because YouTube is a Google application where content and educational videos are shared, so owning a Google account is unavoidable, so I have already opened several accounts to work on, and I will currently be using Mum's Google account, to which I have complete access.

As stated in the contest post, if an email address has been created before now, there is no need to create another, but go ahead and create the channel.

I used a PC for this. I logged in to YouTube via the web, and because I already had a channel, my current channel's profile, NsijoroTv, appeared in the top left corner. I clicked on the top left corner and signed in with my email address.

After signing in with my email address, if you look closely, you will notice that just below the Google account signed in, it is clearly stated that this account has no channel, and in order to subscribe to other YouTube channels, you must own a channel, so many people do not realise they own one.

For me, I had already signed in, so what I did was switch to the email address I signed in with.

I went ahead and created a channel by clicking the 'create channel' button below the email address.

In this channel creation page I was made to choose a unique username and also a display name before proceeding, so I added nsijoro-music as my channel username and my real name, Nsisong Robert, as my display name. There was a space to add my profile, but I had to leave it blank because it would appear on the channel customisation page.

I clicked on 'create channel', and boom, my channel was created.
