SLC27-W1: The Beginning of Becoming a Youtuber by @rubee2as1

A YouTube channel helps one to create contents of his legitimate business(s) and showcase it to the world. It can also be used to promote a product or brand, teach a lesson, and create awareness. This platform has touched many lives educationally in terms of knowledge especially since the world is now a global village through interconnections.

Interestingly, I have been using this platform to promote Steemit by posting some short videos and share same. Now that I have seen an opportunity to create a YouTube Studio, I will be glad to share lengthy videos of what I want to showcase to the world.

Create a new YouTube channel (if you don't already have one), explaining the steps clearly. (Score: 3)

Since I have already had a YouTube account, I login to my account using my Android phone thus;

I then click on my profile picture to change my channel name as shown below from ubong ukpong to “Educational Nature Act”. The name can be changed twice in 14days. I just changed it for the sect of this contest post.

Add a simple profile photo and banner (provide a clear explanation).(Score: 2)

Since my profile picture was there already, I did not need to put another one instead I needed a banner which I didn't have.

Some features were not there since I was using an Android phone to navigate, it was when I clicked on more button that I found YouTube Studio on the drop-down list, then I chose it but it prompted for download from the play store. I successfully downloaded the Studio and installed.

Then I followed the settings-> channel->features->eligibility procedures and verified my phone with 2-steps verification number and entered the studio.

I was able to view the statistics of my earlier uploaded videos👇

Write a channel description of at least 50 words (explain what your channel is about).(Score: 1)
I put a channel description this and saved;

Upload a short introductory video (1 minute long, explaining who you are, why you want to be a YouTuber, and what content you want to discuss, along with your reasons).(Score: 4)

The video is about the contents that I will be creating on my YouTube channel. The thumbnail introduces the contest for week1 and my username on Steemit.
