SEC-S25W1: Full Body Focus

Hello dear fitness lovers and Steemit family!

Participating in Week 1 of the Steemit Fitness Challenge Season 25 has been nothing short of eye-opening for me.

To be honest, I almost gave up before I even began. It’s been such a long time since I did any form of structured exercise, and the thought of it alone felt exhausting. But something in me said, “Just try.” So I did, and wow, it stretched me in every possible way!


💪🏼 My Experience

I followed the full body routine as outlined:

  • I started with jumping jacks and jogging in place for warm-up.
    I knew I was in for a ride when, just 3 minutes in, I was already panting like I had run a marathon. 😅

  • Next, I moved to dumbbell squats using two plastic bottles filled with water as my makeshift dumbbells. Let me just say: my thighs are still crying.

  • Then came pushups, I had to go the beginner route with my knees down, and even at that, each rep felt like a full battle.

  • The dumbbell bent-over rows were okay, but by this time, I was already sweating buckets.

  • Planks? Let’s just say my body was shaking like a leaf in the wind. 🤣

  • Finally, I did a cool down with some light static stretches, which honestly felt like a reward.

🧠 Lessons & Reflection

What amazed me was how much this one session revealed. I was out of breath, my video quality may not be the best (forgive my phone limitations), and I couldn’t believe how sore my legs, especially my thighs, got afterwards. But still, I finished it. And that’s what matters.

Right now, my body is in pain, but my heart is proud. I wanted to lie in bed the whole day, but I couldn’t. I’m a mom, and life doesn’t pause. Still, I’m glad I pushed through.

This is more than fitness for me; it’s about reminding myself that I’m still capable of committing to growth, no matter how long it’s been. This challenge has awakened something in me.

To anyone thinking about starting: Don’t wait until you feel ready. Start from where you are. That’s what I did, and I’m glad I did.

Makajih, meunurot lon, hana mungken na alternatif laen dari olah raga untuk teutap sehat dan fit. Soalan nyang droeneuh bagikan lewat soalan nyoe beutoi-beutoi jroh. Pokok jih teurimong geunaseh ka neu ikot lomba nyang lagak lagee nyoe.
