I got rid of old cards.

Greetings friends!

This post I am writing with a heavy heart. This is my tribute to the splinterlands game.

I had joined steemmonsters (now splintelands) right from its beginning. I was one of the early buyers of its card packs even when no one had an idea that this game will be a success or a failure. This game was a great success. It also made investors happy. Once there was a time when I purchased more and more card packs and cards from the open market. There was a time when the value of my cards were around $35,000. But no such project stays for a longer time, if it has no sustainable model.

After reaching at peak, card prices started decline sharply. Now the value of my cards is less than $350 which is just 10% of its peak value. Greed of the company is responsible for its decline. They have made it tough for the players to play. They are demanding money in form of DEC (native currency) to buy passes for a season if you are interested in playing. This is bullshit. That's why I have decided to sell all of my cards. I sold many legendary cards at cheap rates as you can see in the following image.

One by one, I'll get rid of all the cards. There will be a time when I'll severe all the connection with splinterlands.

Goodbye and have fun!

The thing that confuses me is why you didn't sell the cards when they were priced at $35,000 🤔 I think you're the one who's wrong, not the company

I accept my mistake. But the company is also responsible as it has ruined the game.

I have never played this game before, but according to what you wrote, this is normal, since all game companies do the same thing

But I am not forced to accept their terms.
