Fall Delight!🍁.......... NW Cascade Wanderings

Today was a good day! First was church! Pastor Kyle gave a fantastic sermon regarding being focused on God and not of the things of this world. Worship was awesome as well. 🎶

Afterwards, we went home as I had two continuing education classes to do. I passed both with flying colors! 😎

Then we set out to the little roadside stand to purchase some cornstalks for decorating the driveway.

Then, we headed to Lynden City Park for a hike. The leaves are falling and the park is in full fall swing! This little guy was busy hunting for a snack, or perhaps searching for his winter stores.

The leaves are falling some colorful and some with interesting lines.

Once home, we began putting up the cornstalks and getting the scarecrows out of storage, and finally, arranging the pumpkins I’ve acquired thus far.

After the driveway, we decorated one of the posts up by the house.

The first weekend in October marks the beginning of the pumpkin patch at Stoneyridge Farms; an annual event with pumpkins, apple picking, music, food trucks, a corn maze and much more! I’m looking forward to attending! They’ve got acres of pumpkins and various gourds to go searching through. I’m hoping the weather cooperates! 😁🍁🎃

My steps for the day:

That’s gonna be it for today. Take care; have a blessed week ahead, and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

NKJV Romans 5:1-5

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
