Yesterday, when we were at Safeway, they had these 2’ tall tweed mice. Very cute and a bit pricey, but they seemed like they might would enjoy a bite of cheese. Good thing they’ve stuffed and not live! Or, are they? You never know what goes on at night in the grocery store! 🧀

We needed to take some scrap metal to Z’s recycling today. So we loaded up 2 old dryers and an old lawnmower motor and set out. See @silvertop’s post for pics.

Upon the return trip, we crossed a bridge over Wiser Lake, and although you couldn’t see Mt. Baker for the clouds, there was still a nice reflection on the lake of the clouds.

Once home, we switched vehicles and headed back to Bellingham to drop off an Amazon return that required the trip to the UPS Store. That is the closest, so while in Bellingham, stopped at Walmart to pick up items on the shopping list.

On the way home, the mandatory stop at Starbucks. The barista thought I said ‘pumpkin loaf’ instead of the pumpkin muffin and when I’d realized it after she’d given me the food and said something, she told me to keep it and got the muffin for @silvertop with no charge. I have to hand it to her- she knows my complicated drink order by heart and what @silvertop wants and even the pastries as well as which is heated and which is not. Pretty amazing! 🤩

Later, I put the finishing touches on my fall deacon’s bench. I love fall!
