The Northwest Washington Fair- Part 1......Northwest Cascade Wanderings

Today was earmarked for the Northwest Washington Fair! I love going to it to see the exhibits, the animals, the booths and the people! It can be entertaining just people watching!

We arrived at around ten and in parking the car in front of an old friend’s house, spent 30+ minutes visiting as it’s been quite some time since we’d seen him. @silvertop used to work with him at the newspaper. It was a lovely visit and afterwards, we walked to the fair gate we usually enter. We discovered that it didn’t actually open until 11 AM, but after purchasing self serve tickets, they allowed us in. This is an unusual view of the clock tower area with hardly anyone around.

This is the main crossroads to the 20+ acre space the fair grounds occupies. Later in the day it was wall to wall people!

We stopped in the poultry barn to view the chickens and pigeons. I have a ton of photos but for today’s post, I’m just sharing a few.

There are always tons of flowers and I took tons of pics of them. Here’s a couple to enjoy for now.

It’s been a looong day, and I am tired! 🥱 Stay tuned for tomorrow and part 2 of the Northwest Washington Fair!

Take care and have a blessed Sunday!😇 Enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

NKJV Psalm 128:1-2

Blessed is every one who fears the LORD,
Who walks in His ways.
When you eat the labor of your hands,
You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
