Silvertop grabbed his heavy hooded sweatshirt, and hopped in the car with Liz!
A very light misting rain wasn’t going to put a damper on this year’s Pumpkin Festival!🤗
“Stoney Ridge” is open for the Pumpkin Festival every weekend in October…..
Liz likes to enjoy the very first weekend!😊

I could see that determined look in Liz’s eyes, she NEEDED more Pumpkins Lol!😇

Stoney Ridge isn’t just Pumpkins, after the Fall harvest, including delicious apples from their large orchard. They switch to Christmas, with acre after acre, of beautiful Christmas trees!🤗
A Pumpkin Festival, is like going out in the field to cut down a Christmas tree………..
You can’t just pick the very first Pumpkin you see………
You need to wander around a bit……
then hop on the covered hay wagon pulled by a very large diesel tractor, to scope out where the “Best” Pumpkins are located!😊
The tractor labored as it climbed a small hill alongside the Corn maze!
You could hear faint voices calling out…….
“ Marco!…….Polo!”……..☺️
“Silvertop what happens if you can’t find your way out of the Corn maze Lol”🥰
“More Pumpkins for us honey Lol!”😇🤣
You see, you can’t just buy all your Pumpkins all at one time, or all in one place!
“Silvertop I only need one Pumpkin today!”🥰
One become two, then three…………..
“Liz, I’ll go get one of those wheelbarrows!”☺️
“OK Silvertop……… I think I am ready to pay for our Pumpkins!”🥰
I slowly wheeled Liz’s new orange globes to the check out barn, and then to the hatch of the Mrs car………..
As we headed back home the clouds parted and Sunshine filled the valley!😎
“Look honey, the Sun is finally shining today!”😊
