"LIGHTS ON AND EVERYONE IS HOME!"🐸.........NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀

“Lights On, And Everyone Is Home!”☺️
How quickly the Weather can change in the Pacific Northwest!😳
Yesterday afternoon, you could see for miles up top where they have been logging!😎
Today, no one wanted to venture outside………🙄
“Silbertop, when I strike match to da gasoline I pour on wood in stove?”🐸
“No gasoline in the house PEPE, you can light the paper and kindling, as soon as Liz gets home from work!”😇
The fourth photo I took last Winter. This is how the boys react to a warm, toasty wood stove!😻😺
Looks like PEPE has also become a fan of a warm fire….. or maybe he has just become a pyromaniac Lol!😇🤣
I checked the Weather forecast, and it looked like I had a three hour window in the afternoon before we got dumped on!😅
Up at the “High Trail” thick clouds were moving in from the Ocean at a speed faster than Silvertop hikes!🙄
“That’s it for today PEPE, time to retreat back downhill to our home before the storm overtakes us!”
I was met at the door, with looks that stated….”Where have you been Dad!”😮
“Phoenix…. you look so sad!”………..
“Smelly Dog cold Silbertop, now I strike big match, make big fire!”🐸
“Now you can strike big match PEPE!”👍☺️
“Silbertop I bring in a BIG wheelbarrow of wood, da Cats say da cold!”🐸
You would think it’s Winter Lol!☺️
Till tomorrow, stay warm everyone……..
Silvertop Mike 😊

@silvertop, your posts are always such a cozy escape! The contrast between yesterday's clear views and today's foggy retreat is striking – typical Pacific Northwest! I love how you captured the moody atmosphere and the urgency of hiking against the approaching storm.

But let's be honest, the real stars are Pepe and the feline fire enthusiasts! 😂 The "big match" dialogue and the image of those cats huddled around the stove are absolutely priceless. It perfectly encapsulates the feeling of needing warmth on a chilly day.

Your blend of nature photography, a touch of humor, and those adorable animal antics makes your posts so uniquely engaging. Thanks for sharing your slice of life! Anyone else have furry (or amphibian) companions who are just as obsessed with cozying up indoors? Share your stories below!
