RE: Here is a complete framework for a Generation-5 voting service.

I hope your project will bring positive changes to STEEM, but as far as I can tell, it seems the core issue is ROI. It's hard to provide better ROI than delegation/self-vote bot. A while ago I added a function to my vote service @jsup, which will enable you to share delegation with others so that you can give amplified upvotes to others and receive corresponding curation reward. Some people actually use this function to support others, but majority of people don't seem to care much if it doesn't give you superior ROI. Just my two cents.

Yeah, I get that. That's why the first use I mentioned was just to replace the existing revenue stream with passive rewards and reduced spam levels. In principle, I think it should be possible to match (or even beat) those returns with much less spam - and with fully passive rewards for delegators. In practice, I have no idea if that will pan out, though.

I think the key thing for other uses is to make a convincing argument that supporting creators actually boosts the value of an investor's wallet. So far, I guess that case hasn't really been made. I guess it'll be quite some time (if ever) before we have any evidence from this project...

Thanks for the feedback!

No problem, and good luck!
