Thank you - I appreciate the support and whilst "sincere" probably isn't the right word, I don't know what word is and it fits well so let's go with it 🙂

I couldn't agree more. If anything, it should be the opposite.
I've fixed countless bugs that this user has raised in GitHub - even ridiculously simple ones that with 5 minutes of effort, he could have fixed himself. So why didn't he? He spent longer writing the bug than it would've taken to fix it. Presumably, because he wouldn't benefit. He wouldn't get paid. I'm so bitter and angry... can you tell? I doubt that I'll ever forget this and his efforts to prevent my proposal from happening. I don't even know how this would benefit him or anybody else... I can only see how it harms everybody else.
I have no doubt that his efforts aren't over - I see from his post yesterday that he's still trying. So I haven't quit either. Not yet. Because as you say:
if you leave steem, I'd instantly power down all
And I can confidently say, that you're not alone. (That sounds arrogant. Should I delete it? I don't want it to sound arrogant.)
I can feel your frustration.
What people do here on the chain is just mirroring the behaviour from RL. The humanity could've been much more developed if not all those wars that put us centuries back. Healthy competition is ok but this all doesn't sound healthy, as I see it from my point of view. Of course, I don't know all the history and details ;)
