RE: AUTHENTICITY

Actually "we" did not... a part did. It turns out there's a huge group not joining. Have a look at Xpilar.. it feels to me they are if not a big the most famous community and they do receive support.
Next to the part we swim around there's way more Steemit and if we like it or not they do invest in this platform. Perhaps not with time or good content but I see jokes, thoughts, posts I like to read watch without all the fuss and many of them have a big wallet. Each one of them is an investor and important to Steemit. They will not leave, there are plenty who started before the hard fork.
Will everyone leave? Not everyone. There are plenty addicted to the platform. There might be a loss of content but the question is if that's a problem. There's plenty to read and no one does, many are just producing content 2-4 times per day even if they have nothing to share.

What strikes me most is that till today upvoting someone even if the content is read is NOT a habit. Even if you can win a contest by upvoting, resteeming and leaving a comment the first two are ignored. How lazy can one be? Or how easy should contests be to make people join? Should we beg or give it away to? For what reason exactly?
