Today I was on leave from the hospital job because of festival, so thought of spending the day a little differently. After having breakfast in the morning I decided why not go to the Mahindra showroom today and see the new cars. I was thinking for a long time about getting a new car, so that I can go out comfortably with my family. When I reached the showroom, there were many new models displayed there – some SUVs, some compact models. I also took a test drive of one or two cars, but when I heard the price, I became a little cold. To be honest the price of the car was much higher than my expectations.

Although I have heard that the prices of automobiles have come down a bit recently, yet when I looked at the condition of my pocket, I felt that not yet. On top of that, the crypto market is currently trending very low. I had thought that if the market had been a little higher, perhaps I would have made the booking this month, but looking at the circumstances, it seemed best to postpone that dream for the time being. So while leaving the showroom I said to myself – “Not now, but definitely when the right time comes.”

Returned home and rested for a while, then went to the salon with my son Uvesh in the afternoon. His hair had grown a lot and he was repeatedly teased in school. He happily got his hair cut sitting on the chair and started smiling at himself in the mirror. After see that smile I forgot all the tiredness.

By evening the weather had become very pleasant. I told my wife why not go out for a bit. The three of us I, my wife and son went together to the Akouta Bridge near the famous Vishwamitri river in Vadodara. Sat there and enjoyed the cool breeze. Many families were walking around with their children some people were taking photos, and the calm water of the river was very relaxing.

While sitting there I thought that only small happiness in life gives real peace. What if I didn't buy a car, the time spent with family today was more than anything. While returning home in the evening, I had only this feeling in my heart - “If the holiday is spent peacefully, then that is the biggest wealth.”
