Promo-Steem and Mentoring for Newcomers

One of my activities today that's directly related to Steemit Team Program in terms of Steem Promo is helping one of newcomers to register on platform. I also encourage and personally guide to complete "Achievement1" task and give some markdown introductions and tips to survive and succeed in www.steemit.com.

The day before, Brother Amrizal contacted me via short message asking for time to help him register on Steemit. Because of busyness that can't be left I made appointment with him to meet today.

Amrizal is in registration process and has successfully registered with account name @amrizalabe.

After successfully login, I immediately directed him to subscribe to the Newcomers Community and complete "achievement1" as an introduction to him with other stemians.

Where do we start writing? or, how to start making introductions?, it's often confusing for them to complete achievement 1. This is where mentoring programs are really needed to help newcomers in completing all achievement tasks. "Don't Wither Before They Develop", meaning they need to be continuously motivated and guided to become independent.

Then I directed him to read the achievement guide and several publications of achievement 1 as a reference. I also discussed the prohibition of plagiarism and the obligation to include sources of copyrighted writings, quotes or images.

Successful mentoring activity done today for @amrizalabe, I also said anytime he can ask for my help to guide completing next achievement task.
