Lumber disc herniation/ MRI

How are you Steemians. Hope you all are well I'm good too by the grace of ALLAH ALMIGHTY. My name is gia and I am on Steemit as @jiya99. I am becoming a physiotherapist I have completed my 3 years of degree I am doing the internship in the poly clinic of my city.

I have learned how to see the x-ray of lumbar spine. So I decided to teach you all how to see the x-ray of lumbar spine. Before that you should know that how many vertebras of spine.

There are total 33 vertebras of spine in which there are seven lumbar vertebras that start from the back and extends to the upper part of hip above sacrum.

Then we should know that the normal x-ray oof lumbar spine is c shaped like the cup shaped but if there is a posture abormality then the x-ray or MRI shows the lumar spine straighten that means that your posture is not good enough that's why there is a posture deformity.

Some people bend and do the heavy weight lift and got the disc herniation, spondylosis or spondylolisthesis. We are talking about the disc herniation it means that slipping of the disc. When intervertebral disc slipped from its original position and move forward or backward then means that there is disc herniation

How we can understand that which vertebra has disc herniation First of all you have to count the vertebrates from below to upward.

I have markedthe vertebras and how we can know that where is the disc herniation and how it looks let me show you.

I have marked that which vertebral disc are normal and I have write it normal. You can see that in circle there's the disc herniation because there is the black bulging out that means that disc is bulging out which is the disc herniation.
