The Diary Game 8/8/2025 || Spending my Day Indoor Due to hours of rain

Dear diary

Today has been a rainy day most of my daily activity were not carried out due to several hours rain that took over the day.

I woke up early today as usual it was a bright morning although the weather was far from being a sunny day i had many activities in mind to accomplish today, i did my normal morning routine and was contemplating if i should do some laundry thinking the weather might change letter i was still in thought when i noticed the room became a bit darker i rush outside to check and saw that the clouds has indicated that rain was coming the thought of doing laundry immediately vanished from my mind, other activities like going to the market to purchase potatoes, yam and fish for my evening business were also halted since this business doesn't work on rainy days.

Few minutes from then rain started pouring heavily it poured for 2 hours the reduced to drizzling which lasted the whole day

The rain was intense that it flooded some places in the compound , i didn't do mush around the house i just made breakfast for my family do some dishes expecting the rain to stop but to no avail when i saw that the time was already 3PM i knew i was going to end the day at home.

hot tea for the cold weather

The weather was freezingly cold so everyone was indoor after dinner i made hot tea to help us stay warm, it was really a boring day at home canceling all activities due to rain wasn't fun even the network was disrupted so i tried to engage my daughter who already was tired of staying indoor since morning as she also went to the trying to go out gladly light was restored so i made her have some moment with the screen

her favourite kids drama

I played her favourite kids berry rhymes she enjoyed it so mush we sat for a while and retired early to bed.

Dear dairy that was how i spent my day at home today i would not say it was successful because most of my daily activity was not done due to the rain the fell for hours staying indoors on a day that was supposed to be busy was not fun but i thank God for life and hope tomorrow will be better.
