Islamic Book Fair 2025 has been organized on the occasion of the holy Eid Milad-un-Nabi Hazrat Muhammad (SA:) 1447 Hijri. The venue of this fair has been decided in front of Baitul Mukarram Jame Mosque near Gulistan intersection. It takes 10 minutes to go from Dhaka Zero Point to Baitul Mukarram Jame Mosque. It takes 6-7 minutes to go by auto or van.

This is the main entrance. This main entrance is built on the west side of Baitul Mukarram Jame Mosque. This book fair is organized over an area of ​​about 1 kilometer. Many shops have come here to publish their own books. Each shop has decorated them according to the type of book.However, every shop here has Islamic books. Their main objective is to properly convey Islam to Muslims.

The book fair is mainly set up in the open space in front of the mosque. There are about 160 shops in this front area and about 70-80 shops on the east side of the mosque. In the afternoon and evening, more young boys can be seen buying books here. Especially boys who study in madrasas can be seen here. However, in the inner part, I saw Dhaka University students. Most of the time, they hang out here even if they don't buy books.

I went to the Islamic Book Fair with my brother. The main purpose of going here was to buy perfume oil for the book fair. In some shops here, Dubai perfume oil is available for a very low price. Then I read a book here, which is Arif Azad's story of Umrah visit. It was the best book fair I have seen. However, it is smaller than the Ekushey Book Fair in Dhaka city.However, there is a lot of competition from different publishers here.

Medha Foundation Book House is a shop of Tablighi Jamaat. Here you can find books on how to give the invitation to Islam. All kinds of books have been brought here to give knowledge about Islam to every Muslim brother. All the basic materials of moral education are available here. Among the most sold books here are Fazayele, Fazayele Sadajat. These books are bought by the Muazzem or Imam to read in the mosque.

Muntaha Publications and Al Insaf Publications are located next to each other. They basically make contracts with authors and write books through the authors and sell them in the market and give a portion of the profit to the authors. Since every shop here sells Islamic books, they are no exception. They sell books that are written based on different interpretations of Hadith and Quran. The number of buyers for these books is comparatively less.

Mina book house

Mina Book House sells Islamic books as well as other story books and interesting books for children. Apart from the book fair, this shop is here permanently most of the time. Atar Tupi Surma is sold from this shop but these are limited in quantity. Every shop here closes every time during the prayer time and starts the shop again after the prayer.

Bindu Prakashani, which is located at the book fair, is an unusual bookstore. This store sells books written by left-wing politicians and various types of politics. However, since it is an Islamic book fair, Islamic books are also available here. However, comparatively, other books are more available here. A banner is being displayed in front of this stall promoting a book written about voting.
