Here I was thinking the heartbreak had ended, not realising that I was to be served another immediately after😂.

My week has been almost overwhelming dealing with sick family members. First my mum then started moving from one person to the other. You can imagine being the cook, cleaner, chicken tender, and everything all at once. Word around is that there is something in the atmosphere because why is everyone suddenly down with cold, fever and catarrah??, thankfull to God they're better.
Finally it's time to go visit grandma as things are looking up, but on the day slated, here comes the rain. I thought we all agreed to stay in the break, why are you suddenly showing up like a fairy godmother on an unwanted day??

It's been raining cats and dogs everywhere and grandma has called to cancel the trip. Hearts are broken of course. I hope the rain has enough strength to wash away the pain😂.

Meanwhile, there's a whole lot going on inside.
From knitting new materials into hair capes, to being an assistant masseuse, there's nothing one can't find just to keep the boredom away.

My friend just called to tell me that he's going home. It's been a bad day, according to him as the rains, combined with a lot of customer issues he's been swamped with. These are things we see daily in life.

The rains have subsided, and surprisingly the ground is dry as compared to how it should have been based the kind of rain that fell. Truly, mother earth swallows a lot.

I've fed the birds for the night, and it's off to an early night rest.
