SC S25W3: Dibujando animé shojo.

What's up steemians, hope you're having a great week.

I did an animated art and I wish you take a look from start to finish.
I've provided a video at the end of this post so you can watch the process.....

I'm glad to be a participant.
And this is my entry;

I chose to draw A shojo character named Jojo from a Chinese animated series called ; The princess.
Jojo is a princess whom her parents forced to get married to a prince she wasn't in love with. But she some how got pregnant for the true love of her life, regardless of the fact that she was married to another person.
Mysteries later unveiled and the rest of the story continues....

Steps

I followed due process to crating images by first drawing a round circle or oval and cutting it both horizontally and vertically to enable me place the eyes, nose and mouth properly.

After that , I began to draw some faint line indicating how the face and hair would look ...
You know how a typical Chinese or Japanese princess would look like. So, I did the sketch with my HB pencil that is not too deep.

I completed the sketch of the hair and proceeded to adding a garment.
She's completely covered in ropes. A kind of gown that's either tied round the body, or down but not completely.

Here, I completed the the sketch for the garment
So, I'm just going to go ahead and deepen the Sketches

I used the 2B pencil to deepen the Sketches , I started from the left, and then gradually moving toward the right...

And till everything was completely deepened, only left with some parts that didn't need to be deepened.
I also started painting or should I say shading the eyes.
I shaded the eyes using the 2B pencil. Since I don't have other varieties of pencil for shading, I had to learn how to shade well with the 2B...And trust I did a good job.

So, after the eyes, I went in with the hair starting also from the left and moving to the right.

In this slide, I was done with shading all the parts of the hair, leaving all the portion of light area unshaded.

I started shading her garments...
She's holding and handkerchief with her right hand. So, also I had to avoid shading that portion, leaving the handkerchief white.
Also, I made sure that I left areas with light exposure unshaded..

I was through with the he shading on the garment. So I did some little modification on the drawing just be for adding my username and date.
