Hmmm, I don’t know what you were told before you joined but I had similar issues when I joined steemit. I struggles so much with getting support and I made as much post as I could mange daily. The only thing they kept telling me what to be patient and consistent which was what kept me going and with time the support will start coming. Just keep pushing and try to engage more and I am sure you would do better with time. You can pictures from free sites in that way you don’t have to bother about getting your own personal pictures.
