Hello Everyone !

Today I just felt like sharing my heart with you all. These days, since I’m on holidays, most of my time is being spent at home. University is also going to reopen in a few days, so right now life feels a little calm and slow.

Everyone in my house is home too, so our days are passing in a peaceful and relaxed way. I’ve also been trying to do some online searching because I’m looking for a job, so whenever I get a chance, I check for that too.

So let me tell you how my day went today. I woke up early in the morning around 5 AM. As soon as I got up, I offered Fajr prayer and then I recited Surah Yaseen. After that, I read a few rukus from Surah Baqarah too. It felt really peaceful. Then I went back to bed and rested for a while. I slept again and woke up around 9 or maybe 10 AM, once my sleep felt complete.

After that, I got up and went to the kitchen. I made breakfast for myself these days I’m keeping it simple, just bread and omelette, and with that I poured a glass of milk. I sat and ate peacefully while scrolling a little on my mobile. I watched a few short videos on YouTube and saw some updates on Instagram.

Then I cleaned my room and later helped with cleaning the whole house. After all the cleaning, I sat down and thought about the dresses I want to get stitched. I searched some dress designs on my second phone because screenshots don’t work on it, so I just clicked photos using my other mobile.

‎By that time, it was already afternoon. I watched some YouTube videos, and then I watched a drama that was aired last night,, Main Manto Nahi Hoon which comes on ARY Digital. I really liked it. The story is different and interesting, based on two families who have had a fight going on for nearly 70 years. The whole drama is built around tha and I found it really engaging.

When evening came, it was time to cook dinner. These days, I mostly cook dinner myself because I’m learning how to cook. Today we decided to make kaddu gosht (bottle gourd with meat), and honestly, I really enjoyed preparing it.

I cut all the vegetables bottle gourd, tomatoes, onions, chilies everything by myself. I also took out frozen chicken from the freezer and kept it out to thaw.

Once it was ready, I fried it first, then added all the chopped vegetables and spices, and cooked it slowly on low flame. After cooking, I gave it a little dum, and Alhamdulillah, it turned out so delicious. My whole family enjoyed it, and that made me feel really happy.

After dinner, we prayed Maghrib. Then I spent a little time on my mobile again, mostly on Steemit, and did some scrolling. I also had an assignment to work on, related to a project I’m doing with my friends, so I gave some time to that too.

‎Later at night, my brother came back from shopping and surprised us with ice cream.It was kulfa a flavor, and it tasted amazing. We all scooped it into plates and enjoyed it together such a sweet little moment.

‎And that’s how my day passed today. These were the simple things I did, but to me, they meant a lot. I just thought to share it with you all, because writing it makes me feel lighter and happier inside.
