SLC-S24/W4 - Powerful Debate | Deal or No Deal
Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India. Here I am going to participate in the SLC S242 W4 contest: https://steemit.com/ladies-universe/@ruthjoe/steemit-challenge-s24w4-or-powerful-debate-deal-or-no-deal organised by @ruthjoe
Do you think it is ideal for the financial burden of a home to be managed by the husband alone.
No deal ! |
---|
I don't think so because I have an example in my own home. My husband is a businessman and earns a good income. However, sometimes he faces financial difficulties. In such cases, I help him with my income. Similarly, I also contribute my earnings to the education and other needs of my children.
In many societies, it may be normal for the husband to handle all financial matters, yet this can lead to unequal contributions from each partner and financial strain.
Every person is different, has their own talents or abilities or ways of contributing, so there should be no shortage of effort people put into a marriage, even if the contribution of the financial burden is not proportional, as I said before, all people are different, no one is 'equal' to another person. Their income may be different, in general wives are better at managing the family than men, they may be a little less in earning a dowry, but they still share in the financial burden.
By sharing the financial burden, both husband and wife gain financial independence and can consult together when making financial decisions. Financial disputes can occasionally occur when the spouse is the only one handling the financial load. Financial decisions made by one individual alone may not be understood or approved by the other.
Sharing financial obligations among the family would be a better strategy than having just the husband handle the financial load. This would provide equality for both the husband and the wife. There is no one superior or inferior in a family. If a husband looks down on his wife, the relationship will lose love in no time.
Should the use of mobile phones be banned in schools?
No deal ! |
---|
Sure. But easy to say, hard to do. It's hard to be consistent. It is widely believed that phone use in school is problematic and facilitates distractions, cheating, and more. Today's students live in the digital age, but they also know that there is an imbalance in their lives. In today's era, books are shared more on mobile phones than notebooks, and teachers send assignments on mobile phones and instruct them to do them. It was during the Corona or Covid-19 period that students were given the freedom to use cell phones, but now when we take away that freedom, we become opportunists.
But at the same time, we all know how important cell phones were for education during the Corona era. Even today, many good coaching sessions are available to students through cell phones. Even though some schools have quality teachers, students still have the opportunity to get a quality education through cell phones.
Students should be more focused in class without their cell phones, but they may also need their phone in rare cases of emergency. What happens if, in the event of an earthquake, fire, or dangerous weather event, you don't have a phone to tell your parents or guardians at home if you're okay? It is naive to think that students should follow the rules we impose on them as parents and teachers.
Is it true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day?
Deal ! |

Breakfast is a very important meal. Nutritionists emphasize that it should be taken care of because it is the meal that is taken after a long night's rest, and the food you eat in the morning will provide you with energy for the rest of the day.
The answer to why breakfast is considered important lies in its name's words, 'break and fast.' It is recommended to eat it to break the overnight fast. This is because the body uses more energy, protein, and calcium overnight for growth and repair. In such a situation, eating nutrient-rich foods like protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin B as soon as you wake up in the morning will keep your health in check.
After an overnight fast, our body needs the necessary vitamins and minerals in the morning, and skipping breakfast can hurt our body. Vitamins and minerals not only boost metabolism but also ensure the health of organs. A good breakfast includes foods high in protein, fiber, and antioxidants. You can also increase your vitamin intake by eating foods like peanut butter, lean meat, chicken, fish, eggs, yogurt, smoothies, and fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables.
When you skip breakfast, you're more likely to overeat at work and lunch, which increases the calorie count. On the other hand, a well-balanced breakfast will keep you feeling fuller for longer and reduce the likelihood of overeating in the future.
