Earlier last year, I made up my mind to learn cryptocurrency as well as buying when it's down or dipping and selling with's's's high. So I tried as much as possible to fund my wallet. Some of my Steemit reward was transferred to the exchange and I used it to trade.

Don't rush to jump to conclusions because it is not actually what I expected. It's profitable because we dealing in buying and selling just as in reality. The risk involved is that if the price of the coin you bought reduces in price, the value of your worth or your assets will also reduce. The good thing is that it's not as risky as forex trading.

So, back to the topic, 1 Steem was at the rate of 0.022. I remember vividly that night I had to find someone to help me do the transaction as my phone was about to switch off. You know what....it was perfect to accumulate more steam as there was a dip in the market. According to my analysis, the market will recover before morning.

My total portfolio was $78, and I used everything to trade on Steam. Since I will not be able to monitor the market at night, I set up risk management, stop loss, and take profit (SL/TP). I set where I would like to take exit if it goes against me and also my profit. I had a love night, and when I woke up, the first thing I did was to check my trade. Guess what happened.......1...2....3 whoa

Profit.....$78 changes the figure to $128 on just one night. The market was going up aggressively. More profit secured.

What did you realize and What did you do at this moment?

Eweee.......they never tell me to say na like this crypto dey sweet. Omo...I was so happy. It all shows in my facial expression. This is not the face time I traded Steem, but that was the first time I made a lot of profits on my trade. But one thing stands: the higher your capital the higher the profit you make. A $10 trade will not be the same as $50. From that day, I realized that making money in the crypto space requires good capital.

Why? Because if you use $100 to trade, a little movement in the market, let's say 1%, can give you a good profit. I remember after that day I made some profit daily because I targeted small moves in the market. For those who want to know the kind of trade I did, it was spot trading, less risky than future or perpetual.

Shock 😲 is that feeling when something we did not expect to happen. When I first joined Steemit, my first attention was on people's rewards for their posts. For example, le if I want to read @emishael60 post, I will first check the reward he got on the post as well as those who voted. All I had in my mind was that anybody who's creating quality content here will surely be rewarded. But one day, I saw some posts with $300-$500.

Uwoh....... what kind of Posts do they publish? I checked...... not even up to 150 words. I started thinking: so people can make this kind of money without stress? You know the secrets? It's people who joined Steemit in 2017.

Another shocking moment on Steemit is how curation is being carried out by Steem's curators. Sometimes, when I had no hopes of support, they appeared....... booming. What I have come to realize is that when we put our in the support, it may not come, but if our mind and attention are on creating and engaging, support will come shockingly.

Who would have expected that these comments I made jokingly could earn me a cent? I got the notification yesterday, I feel good. So it is not just about creating many posts but scheduling time to have fun and engage as comments....... you might get shocked as well. Bye for now.
