RE: Tell your story #55: Caveat Emptor (Let the buyer beware!)
But you are striking a very serious point here, talking or consuming any substance without expired date is very dangerous and most times the effects can be disastrous.
I had a similar experience last month, my brother was hospitalized in the federal medical center and the nurse wrote a drugs for us to buy in the pharmacy so when my brother got there, they gave him something else unknown to him since his not his field, so the nurse was about to administer the drug when she realize that it not what prescribed.
I was very mad, I collected the receipt and the drugs went to the pharmacy and cause commotion saying that there are unprofessional in their job,so they pleased with me not to go extra mile because I was ready to Sue them 🤣🤣🤣🤣, just with my mouth.. OOOh 😆😆😆.
The quickly change the drugs for me even with the one that was damage, they pay severely for it.
These call for urgent attention when it has to do with our health.
Your experience takes my mind back to situations where people are sold medications they did not ask for.
I see this happen often that I make it a duty to check and crosscheck the name and gram of the prescribed medication.
It's annoying, to say the least.
I like how the FCCPC steps in when we report these cases. How they are able to hide during inspection marvels me. I wish that more and more people can report defaulters when caught.
It's well dear, our prayers should be the deeds should not be done in the life of our loves ones before realizing that it was not the right medication
This is it.
I might act like everything is fine but I am still traumatised by my aunt's demise. Can't even go deep to discuss the level of pain because it tears me up every single time.
Even now.
But we move. Now, we have to protect the ones around us from further excruciating pain.
That's just the way forward dear🤝🤝,
Have a blessed day 🥰😍😍.
