Contest: This is my dessert

My dessert that I can eat any time, understandably not much of it but enjoy it even if I eat it everyday is Turkish delight.
Let’s see when I first heard this name? Oh, yes, it was the time when my colleague returned from her holiday in Turkey. Actually she had her private apartment in Turkey for the last 10 years and she travelled few times a year to visit it and of course, to enjoy nice weather, nice food but also to do some work around the apartment. She did not give it to rent when she was away because sometimes it was very quick and sudden decision to travel and of course, she needed then free space for that.
So, back to my first time when I saw this delicious dessert. My friend arrived from holiday and brought my a little box she said that is what she really love and typical Turkish sweet. The package was looking beautiful, when I opened up there were few different type and formed sweets. Few of them were looking like jelly type, they were transparent and some very colourful, depending on colour they had taste of different fruits. Actually that reminded me fruit wine gums, but much softer consistency and some of them had different types of nuts, Pistachio but also white nougat, often also with some nuts.
When I first tried it I then understood why people say oriental sweet and also from very old time it is famous that oriental sweet were also some precious presents for people in other countries. Since then I started to visit such Turkish shops and I buy on and off these sweets, I know that much of them are not good because of very sweet taste but time to time it is great to have them with cup of tea, especially when my friends are there. I hope you are familiar with such sweet too.
